On Season 3 of The Traitors, Nikki Garcia’s pro-wrestling career came back to haunt her. After narrowly escaping murder, Wes Bergmann argued that the showmanship required to make a good WWE star would also make her a good Traitor.
Although Wes was completely wrong about Nikki being a Traitor, he was right about her showmanship. There’s a reason why she and her sister are in the WWE Hall of Fame. They’re iconic, and allegedly, the WWE is ready to have her back.
Is Nikki Garcia heading back into the ring?
Spoiler alert: In Season 3, Episode 5 of The Traitors, Nikki became the latest celebrity banished from the game. The Bambi alliance betrayed her, and the Faithfuls took another loss. Competition reality TV might not be for her, but it’s not all bad news for Nikki. An insider told TMZ that she’s in talks to return to the WWE.
The last time we saw Nikki compete was in the 2022 Royal Rumble. More recently, she made a special appearance at Netflix’s WWE Monday Night Raw. According to the insider, that pop-up is what sparked a renewed interest in getting her back into the ring.
According to the source, the conversations between Nikki and the WWE are still early. There’s nothing set in stone, but either way, they said Nikki is already training so that she can be ready for when the time comes.
This potential wrestling comeback comes after a whirlwind year for Nikki. She and her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, were in the headlines for weeks following a domestic dispute. News of a divorce quickly followed, which they settled in November 2024.
Two months later, Nikki told her followers that she was looking forward to embracing a new chapter in her life in 2025. Perhaps returning to her pro-wrestling roots will help her do that.
