Even when Paige DeSorbo isn’t partying it up at a Hamptons mansion on Summer House, she stays living the dream. Paige is one of the biggest podcasters out there, alongside her former TV co-star Hannah Berner. Their Giggly Squad podcast is more popular than ever, and the ladies have headlined several sold-out tour dates to prove it.
Paige and Hannah have always been goofy best friends who love to lay in bed and gossip since their Summer House debut. It’s the premise of the podcast and why it works so well. Paige recently let People come backstage during one of the two sold-out Giggly Squad shows at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall to talk pre-show rituals and more.
Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner keep it real
First, when it comes to tour outfits, Hannah and Paige tend to accidentally be in sync. “We’ve managed to match our outfits almost every single show that we’ve done, but we’ve never once showed each other [our looks] or talked about what we were wearing,” Paige remarked. She added that they have never once borrowed clothes from one another, so that doesn’t even factor into the coincidence.
Then, Paige broke down exactly what she and Hannah do to get ready for a huge show. “Hannah and I actually listened to a lot of rap music before Radio City. We listened to a lot of Future,” Paige explained. “We don’t get ready together when we’re on the road, we actually do our own hair and makeup because we love napping longer. That’s why Radio City was so much more special because we were getting hair and makeup done in the same room.”
When it comes to food in the green room, Paige and Hannah prefer Italian. “My makeup artist brought Italian pastries and our photographer brought pizza from Rhode Island,” Paige explained. “We wanted to be surrounded by Italian food because that’s very comforting for us.” This authentic dynamic between Paige and Hannah is undoubtedly why Giggly Squad is such a hit.
