Vanderpump Rules fans learned that the OG cast was not returning for Season 12. Instead, a brand-new set of faces who work at SUR will be serving up drama along with Lisa Vanderpump. Fingers crossed! After the brutal Season 11 VPR reunion, it was obvious because of Scandoval that there was no way this group of friends could move forward. Still, it stings a bit when you think back on some of Pump Rules’ earlier seasons. While most of the VPR alums have other gigs, Scheana Shay just unveiled a major project that she has been working on.

That’s right – Scheana wrote a book, and it could be your next summer read. Plus, she promises to share all sides of herself with her readers. As fans know, Scheana has a “good side” for taking photos.
“Ahhhhhhh!!! I wrote a book! As you all know, one chapter of my life has come to an end, and I’m ready to turn the page and tell my own story,” Scheana wrote via Instagram. “You’ve seen one side of me on reality TV, another side through filtered social media content, but MY GOOD SIDE isn’t a highlight reel. It digs deep into the core of who I am – the good, the bad, the messy, along with the missteps and lessons learned along the way,” she said.
Scheana continued, “The process of writing this book has been both cathartic and healing, and I surprised even myself with the stories that bled out onto these pages … details of my life that I’ve never shared, not even with some of my most inner circle.” She added, “Until now. The rose-colored glasses are off, and this is me at my most authentic.”
Besides writing this book, Scheana has been busy since her days on Pump Rules ended. Scheana, Lala Kent, and Tom Schwartz will be appearing in the second season of The Valley. It’s like a mini-VPR reunion!
Plus, when Lisa shaded the paternity of expectant mom Kristen Doute’s baby, Scheana hit back. “Knowing the struggles that Kristen has shared about her path to becoming a mother, even if you don’t like someone,” Scheana previously said, “it is distasteful.”
