Vanja Grbic had the unusual situation of having to confront two former suitors during the 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days Season 7 reunion. First, there was the man that she had an online relationship with, Bozo. But after he friend-zoned her, Vanja met Josko Luketin on a dating app. The two spent a hot and heavy time in Croatia to top off her vacation. Then, Josko flew to Florida to visit her before abruptly calling off the relationship.
It could have been a simple case of waning interest, or the realization that Josko’s foster son couldn’t be easily relocated from Croatia. But at the reunion, Vanja revealed a shocking truth that made the termination of their relationship perhaps the best conclusion.
Vanja said Josko “violated my privacy”
During part 3 of the Tell All, Josko confirmed that he filmed a sex tape with Vanja without her knowledge. He apologized for the betrayal during their segment, having joined virtually from his native Croatia.
“Without my consent, without my knowledge, [he] violated my privacy, my body,” Vanja revealed to her shocked costars.
What makes the betrayal all the worse is that Vanja previously spoke about her trust issues during the season. She chose to be celibate for several years while waiting to find someone she felt comfortable with.
Vanja told host Shaun Robinson that Josko was “proud of himself” for making the video when she confronted him about it.
For his part, Josko argued that he had spoken to Vanja about making a sex tape prior to filming it. But after further discussion, he admitted that Vanja did not give her consent.
“In my head, I developed a story about the consent, but it wasn’t there,” he conceded,
Josko didn’t do himself any favors by bashing Vanja’s sexual preferences earlier in the conversation. Perhaps that talking down to Vanja pushed her to reveal his violation.
Despite apologizing “multiple times” when Vanja discovered the sex tape, Josko insisted he only did it to “spice things up” in the bedroom. However, the lingering effect kept him “awake a lot of days.”
“It’s not something that I’m proud of … It was something that I should not have done,” Josko told Vanja at the reunion.
He continued, “I violated your privacy, I violated your trust and I’m deeply sorry. I could not find words to describe how sorry I am because of that.”
Vanja shared, “It’s heartbreaking because I give my all in a relationship and then the other person doesn’t want to pursue things with me anymore. And it’s very disappointing to know that I keep giving and giving and I get this in return.”
Josko’s concluding thoughts about the relationship were that he had “good intentions.”
“It didn’t work out but I’m glad we tried. She’s gorgeous, she’s amazing and I wish for her to meet someone that will respect her and love her more than me and definitely more than Božo,” he said.
Earlier in the segment, Vanja shared how much “being intimate” is a “big deal” for her.
“And the fact that he got that for me, I don’t want to say I want to take it back, but I wish I didn’t,” she said.
