One reality TV star has advice for another as the two each face high-profile breakups. Brittany Cartwright gave some words of counsel to fellow Vanderpump Rules alum Ally Lewber amid her split from James Kennedy.
Ally recently confirmed her breakup with James on social media. Speculation already ran rampant after James’s arrest on domestic violence charges, and Ally decided to put an end to the rumors.
Meanwhile, as fans of The Valley know, Brittany and Jax Taylor have been in the middle of their divorce since August 2024. Viewers wait to see how The Valley Season 2 will turn out with all the conflict at hand. But in the meantime, Brittany is happy to offer what she can to her fellow women in the industry.
Brittany Cartwright encourages Ally Lewber to focus on herself
Recently, a pap from TMZ caught up with Brittany about all things VPR. They asked her if she was surprised by Ally’s split from James. “I’m not that close to them,” she said. “So, I don’t really, you know, want to say whatever. But, you know, I [wish] Ally the best.”
“I just want her to stay strong and, you know, [I] wish the best for her.” When asked if she had any advice for Ally, Brittany said, “It’s hard doing all this in the media. But I just really want her to like, be strong, and like, focus on herself. Put herself first. That’s the most important right now. It’s tough.”
As for the next season of The Valley, Brittany said she couldn’t talk about it. Then there was the question of Jax. Brittany described things with Jax as a “rollercoaster” at the moment. But she seemed to be doing well regardless. Lastly, as for the new Vanderpump Rules cast, Brittany simply said, “Big shoes to fill.”
Vanderpump Rules and The Valley are streaming on Peacock.
