Kyle Cooke Enlists Bravolebs To Help LA Fire Relief Fundraiser

It was a chance to party for a good cause. And what doesn’t Summer House star Kyle Cooke know about throwing an energetic event? As it turns out, a lot of Bravolebrities wanted to pitch in to help victims of the California fires. As well as to support firefighters and first responders.

Kyle had an idea to fund-raise with fellow Bravolebrities and have proceeds go to Bethenny Frankel’s BStrong charity. A handful of reality TV stars committed to the January 24 event and gathered at the City Winery in NYC for a good cause.

Kyle Cooke called the willingness the participate a “snowball effect”

Kyle exclusively told Page Six that Summer House stars Carl Radke and West Wilson were on hand. Alum Danielle Olivera was also in attendance.

The stars agreed to take pictures with fans, ham it up onstage, and share some juicy gossip of the goings-on with their respective shows.

Real Housewives of New Jersey power couple Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga appeared, as well as Frank Catania. Dorinda Medley, Real Housewives of New York alum, showed up to “make it nice.” She also “absolutely” agreed to co-host with Kyle, after enlisting him to teach her to DJ.

“It was a snowball effect,” Kyle revealed.

It’s worth noting that RHONJ husbands Joe and Frank were already booked for a prior event, and chose to leave early to support the fledgling DJ.

“That was very serendipitous, but they were incredibly kind,” the Loveryboy founder added.

Kyle felt “helpless” when he saw the destruction from the California wildfires

“There will be opportunities for some of our co-hosts to hop on stage,” Kyle said. “But, most importantly, it’s about hanging out, mingling, and taking pictures with fans. I’m really encouraging my co-hosts to work the room and mingle with everyone.”

The Summer House star called the event a “party.” Though, it was born out of feeling “helpless” in the wake of the devastating fires in Pacific Palisades, California.

“I was just thinking, ‘What well can I do?’ And sometimes, doing a good old-fashioned in-real-life event is the best way to do it,” he said. “I want to remind everybody that has a platform that, yes, posting about it helps, but it also doesn’t take much to go the next step.”

Kyle decided to donate 100 percent of ticket sales to BStrong. According to him, Bethenny “deserves a lot of credit” for doing a lot of support work “behind the scenes” for worldwide tragedies.

“I’ve seen the incredible things Bethenny has done for other disasters, so I went with an organization that’s been there for all of the recent natural disasters,” he explained.

Kyle added, “When she puts her mind to something, she’s all in. When tragedy strikes, she literally drops everything. She’s been going nonstop for two-and-a-half weeks. I just think she deserves so much freaking credit.”
