Love Island All Stars is back for Season 2, and they brought some big names this time around. For instance, viewers were stunned when Love Island legend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu sashayed in as the very first bombshell. Just recently, stand-out Season 11 contestant Harriet Blackmore entered, and things started to get good. That’s the power of a great bombshell on Love Island.
Because this is All Stars, it makes the show even better when an all-time great contestant from years past returns to the villa. Here are some of our favorites we’re rooting to see return as bombshells to shake up All Stars Season 2. Ovie Soko would be on our list but, unfortunately, he publicly turned it down. Hopefully, some of these hot new bombshells will enter the villa in the coming weeks.
Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay, Love Island Season 3
We’re putting these two as a collective unit because frankly, they are one. Love Island produces as many iconic friendships as it does couples (if not more). Chris Hughes and Kem Centinay’s Season 3 bromance is the blueprint. As a bombshell, Chris shook the villa up, and not just because he once said “I feel like I’m a polar bear” with no explanation.
Kem won Season 3, but since Ekin-Su is back, that’s not a rule against All Stars casting. In addition to being chaotic and good-looking, Chris and Kem won viewers’ hearts by being total softies. I’ll never forget Chris crying over a baby doll (named Cash Hughes) as if it were a real child. Or when he offered to “rap a little bit to lighten the mood.” Kem also gave the whole villa haircuts, which was adorable. And would probably be appreciated by the All Stars Season 2 cast.
Megan Barton-Hanson, Season 4
Megan Barton Hanson was such a powerful bombshell, that she turned Wes Nelson’s head with just one look. The sex-positive Season 4 star made for incredible TV. Even when she had cringe-worthy moments, like encouraging her pal Rosie to do a revenge photoshoot.
On or off screen, she’s chaotic in a way few others are. After all, she made headlines for kidnapping two separate hamsters! While she was on Love Island Games Season 1, the openly bisexual star became part of the franchise’s second-ever same-sex couple. However, she declined to join All Stars Season 1. She said none of the guys were attractive enough for her. Hopefully, she can still be convinced to join Season 2.
Toby Aromolaran, Season 7
If Casey O’Gorman can appear on both seasons of All Stars, why can’t Toby Aromolaran? For anyone surprised by Ronnie Vint’s seemingly inexplicable charm, Toby walked so Ronnie could run.
No one else could recouple before Casa Amor, bring someone else back from Casa, and then decide to go back to who they were with two couples ago. But Toby did! Him admitting that he wanted to get back with Chloe Burrows after all that was one of the most shocking twists. And the girls couldn’t even be mad at him! All three still loved him! He won back Chloe right away!
Toby’s unshakable rizz, lack of object permanence, and straight-from-the-heart decision-making were also on display in All Stars Season 1. It wasn’t a great season, but Toby was one of the saving graces. So far, All Stars Season 2 is an improvement. But with Toby in the villa, it could be even better.
Chloe Burrows, Season 7
Speaking of Toby and Chloe! The first bombshell of Season 7, Chloe Burrows is also one of the funniest Love Island contestants ever. I still quote her iconic lines and say “No whey” in her voice all the time. Her unshakable confidence (like firing back “I’m a weapon” to a rude comment about her age) and ability to stay hyped up no matter what made her a perfect contestant.
Unsurprisingly, Chloe’s managed to follow in Olivia Atwood’s footsteps with a successful presenting career since Love Island. She continues to be chaotic, like admitting to faking a relationship. Viewers were holding out hope she’d appear on All Stars Season 1, and with good reason. Even if her ex Toby doesn’t come back for another round, I’d love to see Chloe in the villa again. She was made for TV.
Zara Deniz, Season 9
Season 9’s Zara Deniz was a great bombshell, but she didn’t get enough time in the villa. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Season 9 went downhill once she was eliminated. So much of her experience was spent feuding with Liv Hawkins over eventual All Stars Season 1 winner Tom Clare. Despite her shortened stint, she managed to get some amazing lines in.
She also never hesitated to stir up drama. Instead of keeping secrets, she rushed to tell the others, citing “girl power!” as the reason. Fans loved her so much that, after she was eliminated, they hoped she’d return to Casa Amor. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Now that Liv’s been eliminated from All Stars Season 2, we wouldn’t need to rehash their feud either. Let’s get Zara back in the South Africa villa so she can show off her full potential.
Omar Nyame, Season 11
Another recent bombshell who didn’t get to show their full potential! LI UK Season 11 was one of the most disappointing to date. It didn’t help that Love Island USA had an all-time great season airing at the same time. And Omar Nyame was one of many contestants who got overshadowed by the Joey Essex show.
In an unfair move, Omar was essentially eliminated just so OG boy Sean Stone could get rid of the competition for Matilda Draper. But when he was on, Omar brought the chaotic energy the season desperately needed. He wasn’t afraid to step on any toes. I’ll never forget him stealing a cup of coffee right out of Ciaran Davies’ hands so he could give one to Matilda before Sean. Viewers also heavily shipped Omar with Grace Jackson, who is currently in the villa for All Stars Season 2.
Liv Walker, Love Island USA Season 6
Since this is All Stars, I think it’s time to bring back notable alums from outside the UK cast. Especially since Love Island USA was a phenomenon last summer. Season 6 was undoubtedly the best USA season yet. Some would even argue that it was the best of the entire franchise.
Liv Walker was the first bombshell of LI USA Season 6, and instantly made waves for breaking up a strong couple. The definition of fiery, and the ultimate girl’s girl, she quickly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, the stunning Aussie didn’t find love. But she did, in her own words, find sisters for life.
Liv deserves another shot at finding a love match in the villa. Maybe the All Stars guys would be more her caliber. I can see some viewers questioning if the distance would be too much. But people said the same when Australian Jessie Wynter joined LI UK Season 9, and she’s still with Will Young today.
Of course, there is a UK resident in the LI USA Season 6 cast. Aaron Evans could also come as a bombshell. Maybe he could bring along bestie Rob Rausch, one of Season 6’s most talked-about contestants. Basically, I really want to see that cast back. And All Stars Season 2 provides the perfect opportunity.
Love Island All Stars is available to Stream on Peacock.
