Scheana Shay’s Memoir: What We Want To Read About

You guys. Hashtag, it is finally all happening. Scheana Shay wrote a memoir that will drop in 2025. Cue something new for my eyes to fixate on now that the OG cast of Vanderpump Rules has to dip out of their rebooted series.

When Scheana announced her hysterically titled book, My Good Side, I (emotionally) died. You see, long ago, Katie Maloney noted that she could read Sheana like a book. Katie hated the chapters within this fictitious novel, as she always found Scheana to be a messy, wishy-washy type of friend.

On TikTok, however, Scheana seems to be fully leaning into her extra ways. She is becoming the character we all saw and some eventually grew to love (through our raised eyebrows) on VPR. To announce her newest project, Scheana created a reel of Katie alongside her book, showing a tongue-in-cheek advert to help encourage her fans to pre-order her memoir.

From the title, brought on by yet another iconic VPR storyline, to her posts, to the book’s cover image, which features Scheana lovingly starring at her number one human in this group, herself, Scheana is embracing who she is. And now, we are eager to see what teas she might be spilling via My Good Side. But if we had to select five topics for Scheana to touch on, these are our picks.

To understand who Scheana Shay is as an adult, I hope her memoir touches on her childhood

Before the reboot sounded, Scheana did her most on VPR for eleven long seasons. Yet, two themes were almost always present within her storylines. First, Scheana tends to stick with the men whenever conflict arises within her cast. Second, our little Sheshu is boy-crazy, falling fast and hard for her men on VPR.

I remain curious about others, like Scheana, who carry themes within their behaviors. The few times Scheana touched on her childhood on VPR, I found myself alert to her words. Scheana has endured bullying for the bulk of her life, and the majority of her haters have been female. Therefore, she gravitates towards men, which tracks.

But Scheana also seems to crave validation from every one, no shade. As a result, I would love for Scheana to get raw, disclosing all the messy bits of her childhood that helped shape her into this pick-me girl on VPR. If she does this, I know that MANY of us would be able to resonate with her words, as we are all readers, standing in front of our devices, asking for love and acceptance with each word read and text sent.

I want Sheana Shay to name ALL of her Hollywood and VPR conquests

Scheana has an impressive and scandalous dating profile. Before VPR ever filmed, she was engaging in an affair with Eddie Cibrian. He fooled her, she admitted, as Eddie was already married to another.

His wife, Brandi Glanville, hated this spilled tea. Oopsies.

But once VPR started airing, Scheana began opening up about her other conquests. Soap star Robert Valletta brought his television hanging skills with repeatable quickness to VPR. Yet, Rob comes after John Mayer, whom Scheana allegedly shared a throuple-styled relationship with.

These names carry weight. However, she also entertained lesser-known names, like the two-season wonder Max Boyens and then Adam Spott, who, like Max, also worked at SUR.

Then we have Mike Shay, her husband. Scheana and Mike divorced in Season 5. But in Season 9, we finally met Brock Davies, the father of her daughter, whom Scheana remains married to.

Scheana has a romantic history that is often entertaining, making us hope for additional hookup stories to come flying out of her vaults via her memoir, My Good Side.

Now that their case is closed, we would love to read about what transpired between Scheana Shay and Rachel Leviss

Rachel Leviss is no longer tight with Scheana. This death happened once Rachel’s affair with Tom Sandoval became public. Scheana reacted, and, as a result, Rachel entered a claim of physical aggression against her in our nation’s court systems.

When the news of this affair broke the internet, Scheana was taping an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Rachel. Scheana was less than thrilled to read her incoming texts, alerting her to this event. As a result, Rachel claimed that Scheana gave her a black eye, so she had no choice but to lawyer up and enter a restraining order against her costar. This legalized divide made filming for the Season 10 reunion rough since Scheana and Rachel were not legally allowed to tape on the same soundstage as one.

Thankfully, Rachel dropped this protective order around the same time. Scheana then took to her podcast to tell her side of the story, but various details were lacking. Like, after Scheana shoved Rachel, what happened? And did Rachel ever reach out to Scheana to clear the air?

Does Scheana have any advice for others staring down a similar narrative? See? We need an entire chapter dedicated to the Rachel versus Scheana storyline, as one season of tight-lipped explanations on VPR failed to address all of our nosey asks.

On this same note, we hope Scheana Shay addresses her status(es) with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix

Before the Scandoval nightmare, Scheana was close to Tom and Ariana Madix. When Ariana ditched Tom, Scheana became like a child of divorce, torn between her parents about where her alliances needed to stand.

But then she temporarily held Tom accountable while riding hard for Ariana. Scheana even made amends with Katie. Silly me because I got excited, thinking the girls were about to deliver an epically girl-power-heavy Season 11.

But between production and the cast’s ever-shifting feelings, we got our final season of VPR, where, sadly, the girls landed back in a divided spot.

In her confessionals, Scheana began to cast snarky remarks about Ariana, whose fame rose exponentially in the wake of Scandoval. Meanwhile, Scheana began extolling about how her heart missed Tom, as he was always in her corner. While Ariana never lashed out at Scheana for her quick turnarounds, the hurt was apparent all over her face during the Season 11 reunion.

So we hope that Scheana opens up about this nightmare in her memoir as our intrusive selves need to know where she now stands with Tom and Ariana.

We also hope Scheana Shay presents in an accountable manner while revealing a few insider notes about her newest gig on The Valley

When The Valley returns via Season 2, Scheana will again grace our screens. This worker bee knows how to stay relevant, eh? With multiple existing friendships in place, I am eager to see what kind of energy Scheana brings to this series.

I hope Scheana learned many skills on Pump Rules, like how to present as authentically as possible. And when she presents as grown, I hope she calls out her male costars, like she once did with Tom.

Jax Taylor, a VPR alum turned The Valley’s resident villain, is giving us clues that my wish is already his woe. These two are now sparring via their respective podcasts. Their feud indicates that everything is not as Good as Gold on Farmhouse Lane as it should be.

We need this new feud discussed in her memoir, My Good Side. We would also love to read spoilers or messy truths within her pages. And if her quips are about anyone she has ever filmed with, either past or present, then chefs kiss. We would gladly absorb any chapters like this, as we love a hot mess that isn’t ours.

Vanderpump Rules and The Valley are streaming on Peacock.
