Selling the City’s Eleonora Srugo Shuts Down Mayor Eric Adams Dating Rumors

Everyone hold your horses! Selling the City star Eleonora Srugo isn’t getting ready to be the next First Lady of New York City. She has officially shut down those pesky rumors that she’s dating Mayor Eric Adams.

With everything else going on in Mayor Adam’s term, dating a Netflix star would probably be the least of his concerns. Either way, Eleonora wanted to set the record straight about what’s been going on between them. According to her, it’s completely platonic.

Eleonora Srugo is “just friends” with Mayor Adams

Eleonora, who just wrapped up Season 1 of the Netflix real estate show, spoke to Page Six about the dating rumors surrounding her and the New York City mayor. Speculation about their relationship began buzzing after the two were pictured together a handful of times, sometimes late at night. Eleonora explained that their relationship predates his mayoral run.

“I met the mayor way before he was mayor. We’re friends,” she told the outlet. “He’s a busy man — obviously way busier than I am. He gives great advice.”

Although Mayor Adams has been disgraced by several federal conspiracy charges, Eleonora explained that she has been supporting his vision for New York for years. She claimed that questions about their relationship have always plagued them. Supposedly, it used to offend her.

“Is it just because, like, he’s a man and I’m a woman? Or he’s a man of color and I’m a white [woman]? Like, what is it that?” she asked. “There was one article that says I was in a car with him. I mean, there are hundreds of people that go in cars with him.”

According to Eleonora, she likes being around “intellectual” people, so that’s why she runs in the same fabulous circle as Mayor Adams. To her, there’s nothing wrong with it, and she plans to continue their platonic relationship as the city prepares for another mayoral election.

“But I’m not calling him to talk about my boy trouble or anything,” the Netflix star explained. “Like, we’re friends.”

Selling the City is streaming on Netflix.
