Spencer Pratt had some choice words about Andy Cohen on Twitter. Granted, Andy had some choice words for Spencer and Heidi Montag way back when on Watch What Happens Live.
One would think Spencer has bigger fish to fry than responding to tweets about Andy. After all, Spencer and Heidi just lost their house to the devastating LA wildfires. They should be trying to recoup their losses. Spencer and Heidi were collecting donations from fans.
But those fans weren’t too pleased when the couple went public with a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles. Donators felt their money was going toward lawyers when they thought it would be going toward something more noble. But the criticism hasn’t kept Spencer quiet.
The bad blood between Andy and Spencer explained
On January 26, Spencer responded to a tweet asking if he’d ever appear on WWHL. He wrote, “the person who said he would rather scratch his eyes out then [sic] watch my wife … hard pass”. In 2011, Andy called Heidi “trash” and said he would rather “stab knives into [his] own eyes than see her on this network,” according to Bravo.
One Twitter user encouraged Spencer to reconsider. “Lots of people giving u a second look, u should give those chances out too? You guys would be lucky to sit down with [Andy] he is a nice guy with a huge platform. I would watch!” Spencer replied, “lol yah so lucky the guy that bashes my wife gonna be so lucky to sit with him. Rather sit in my burned house rubble.”
Andy still isn’t on the best terms with Spencer and Heidi. Although, Andy would have everyone believe there’s no bad blood. He once explained why he wouldn’t consider Heidi for Real Housewives. “They’re so identified, not only with another show but with another network,” he said.
