Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval is keeping busy. The former restaurant owner has been gracing our screens as of late, starring in several shows. First, he was on Special Forces, and now he’s on Season 3 of The Traitors. Who knew Tom’s calling would be competition shows? However, when he isn’t busy competing, Tom’s performing with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras. And fans will be excited to know they are hitting the road once again.
Tom Sandoval says his band plays “songs that people don’t normally hear in cover bands”
If you want to see Tom perform, along with some sweaty armpits, he’s got some good news for you. Tom posted on his Instagram his band will be touring the Midwest this upcoming February and March. They’ll kick off with two performances in Omaha, Nebraska. After that, it’s New Town, North Dakota. And finally, they’ll be wrapping up their tour in Hinckley, Minnesota.
Tom posted, “Excited to announce the first batch of shows for @tomsandovalandthemostextras in 2025. Tickets are moving fast so make sure to click the link in my bio! (Also this photo is pretty old so any photographers looking to shoot our band send a DM).”
For those unfamiliar with his work, Tom explained his band’s style in a 2022 interview with Bravo Insider. Tom said, “We want to do songs that people don’t normally hear in cover bands. If we play a Journey song, there’s no way we’re playing, like, ‘Don’t Stop Believin.’ We’re just all over the place.”
Tom continued, “Like, we open up with Incubus’ ‘Wish You Were Here,’ I play trumpet within the first 20 seconds. And then it goes right into, you know, Loverboy’s ‘Workin’ for the Weekend.’ That’s what I really like, just the unexpectedness of it.” And VPR fans are very familiar with Tom’s trumpet-playing skills, or lack thereof.
He also explained his enthusiasm for the band. There’s no villain persona here. Tom said, “I just wanted to get out there, make music, and do it. And I love it so much.”
Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
