Watch What Happens Live premiered on Bravo on July 16, 2009. Andy Cohen has always been the face of this late-night talk show. His long-standing gig makes sense, as Andy is the executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise.
This franchise is massive, and the ladies who star in each series have one thing in common: they all like to look and feel their best whenever the bright lights of Bravo go up in their city. However, one WWHL viewer recently came for Andy online. They think his plastic surgery questions are growing tiresome. Cue Andy going on the defense via his socials, just like one of his Real Housewives stars might.
Andy Cohen will keep asking the 411 questions the viewers wish to know, including surgical procedures
Online communities are stressful, especially when the members turn into keyboard warriors, hell-bent on calling things out at random. Yet, these keyboard killers are often slightly off. They come in hot but lack proper facts, details, and a thorough understanding of why things are how they are. So, after a fan took to X (formally known as Twitter) to reveal their disdain over how Andy hosts his Real Housewives stars on his WWHL platform, Andy quickly fixed things by adding a few key notes to their statement.
This viewer began their post by tagging Andy. Then, they typed, “The millions of women who watch these franchises are tired of you asking women [‘]what work they [have] had done[‘]. This isn’t 2009 anymore[,] and women can do whatever they want to their face[s]/bodies. It’s time to retire this question. It’s rude and does 0 for the viewers,” they stressed, adding the RHONY hashtag to their post.
Andy quickly clocked in, writing, “[W]hat work have you done” remains at the top of the list of viewer questions every season, every franchise. The [Housewives] have unabashedly let us into their beauty regimes since day one; It’s a big part of the series DNA.”
Andy is correct. In the history of every city across this franchise, at least one star has gone under the knife. From new noses to lipo to boobies that bounce, not sag, plastic surgery is king. Therefore, this is a non-problematic question for Andy to ask.
Tamra Judge would agree. She has even shared a recovery session online, proving nothing is off limits for Real Housewives stars (minus kids and husbands).
Real Housewives of Orange County is streaming on Peacock.
