Savannah Chrisley shared a “bittersweet” update about her dad Todd Chrisley’s prison stint. She also added that she believes he has been threatened while behind bars. Looks like things may get worse before they get better for the former stars of the reality show Chrisley Knows Best.
This isn’t the first time Savannah has talked about Todd and even Julie Chrisley’s time in jail. She has been regularly fighting to get them released. Sassy was so distraught about her parents’ fate, that she could barely function during their trial and she has always maintained their punishment was too harsh.
Savannah Chrisley shared Todd will likely get moved but she still wants to expose his prison facility
Since the trial, Savannah has tried to get her parents an amended prison sentence, relocated to a better prison, or released early. She’s worked on appeals and even expressed concerns about the staff at Todd’s prison fearing for his safety.
So far, her efforts have been unsuccessful. During her latest episode of Unlocked, Savannah shared the latest update. Her father is moving elsewhere because “FPC Pensacola is closing down.”
“Before I wrap up, something I did not touch on that I want to touch on because I posted it on social media. Dad’s facility is closing down,” Savannah shared. “It’s a bittersweet feeling. I am happy it’s closing down because no human should be subjected to the conditions or treatment the facility gave.”
She added, “But I am sad it’s closing down because I don’t know where he’s gonna go. I don’t know where they’re gonna try and put him.”
Savannah also shared that she’s heard of threats to send Todd so far up in New York to make family visits harder.
“I hope and pray that doesn’t happen because that is pure retaliation and I will not stand for it,” Savannah said.
Savannah also wants to try to stop the demolition of FPC Pensacola. At least until she gets the evidence she needs to reveal how uninhabitable nature of the facility.
On social media, she touched on the alleged inhumane conditions of the prison. She spoke about how her dad and the other prisoners had no heat during the snowstorm. Savannah reiterated her stance that changes must be made.
