Brittany Cartwright is in her single-girl era. The Bravo star is entering a new chapter after announcing her separation from Jax Taylor in February 2024. She spoke about her decision to end the marriage in a March 2024 interview, saying, ‘I’m hot as hell, and I’m not going to listen to this bullsh*t anymore.” We love that for her!

Reality Tea got the chance to chat with Brittany ahead of Season 2 of The Valley, which is expected to air later this year. We spoke about her partnership with Charmin on their “Prevent the Dump” campaign, her dating life, and whether she would appear on other reality TV shows.

Here’s everything she had to say…

Brittany is embracing her newfound singledom by partnering with Charmin on their dating-themed campaign titled, “Prevent the Dump,” which helps customers invest in quality toilet paper to avoid turning off potential partners. According to a recent press release, Charmin found that 20 percent of people “know someone who dumped a date/love interest because of low quality toilet paper.”

Brittany is doing her part to ensure her fans don’t fall into that statistic. We spoke to the Bravo star about her involvement in the campaign and what it means to her.

“You know, everyone knows I’m single now and I am in this new dating life. I’m looking for all the red and green flags. People agree that first impressions start in the bathroom,” she told us. “I love the idea of ‘Prevent the Dump’ and using quality [toilet paper]. You can make the smallest effort to have a premium TP in your bathroom.”

Will Brittany Cartwright be the next Bachelorette?

In recent years, Vanderpump Rules stars have ventured outside the realm of West Hollywood and the Valley to compete in other reality shows. Jax embraced his bad boy reputation on House of Villains, Ariana Madix showed off her ballroom skills on Dancing with the Stars, and Tom Sandoval joined the Season 3 cast of The Traitors.

We asked Brittany what reality shows she has her eye on.

“I’m down for whatever,” she told us. “This is such a new phase in my life that I don’t want to say no to anything. I think stepping out of my comfort zone is very important right now.”

We mentioned she would be an excellent candidate for the ABC show The Bachelorette and she seemed receptive to the idea of leading a dating show.

“Bravo needs to have a dating show where I’m basically like the Bachelorette. I would so sign off for that,” she joked. Perhaps if Love Hotel gets a second season, she can follow in the Countess’ footsteps?

In November 2024, Vanderpump Rules executive producer Alex Baskin announced that the show would return for Season 12 with an entirely new cast. The OG cast responded to the news on social media, posting photos and videos from their decade-long career on the network.

We asked Brittany, who left the show after Season 8, how she feels about VPR continuing without the OGs. She extended well wishes to the newbies as they navigate the “crazy world” of reality television.

“Good luck to the new cast because they have big shoes to fill,” she said. “It’s never [going to] be the same, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a good show. It’s a crazy world, so I wish them the best and we’ll see what happens.”

The VPR alum said she understands the decision given how much the cast has changed in the last decade.

“I think a lot of the cast is in such different places of life,” she said. “A lot of us are parents now … There is just a lot going on that doesn’t revolve around the restaurant life anymore … So, I kinda get the idea of wanting to bring it back to the restaurant and showing that dynamic again.”

Will Brittany Cartwright share her dating life with her fans?

Brittany has been in a relationship with Jax since the start of her reality TV career. Fans of the Kentucky native have never witnessed single Brittany. We asked how she feels about being single in the public eye for the first time and whether she plans to share her dating life with her fans.

“I’m a very honest, open book,” she said. “If I’m dating and if I start liking somebody new, of course, I’m going to talk about it as long as they’re comfortable with it.”

Season 2 of The Valley returns in 2025.
