Garcelle Beauvais doubled down on her “lesbian comment” to Kyle Richards. And it looks like the two are good despite their recent beef. Garcelle is confident that she and her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star will figure it out.
However, one thing Garcelle won’t be doing is apologizing for what she said because she didn’t mean it maliciously. If anything, Garcelle feels that Kyle owes her an apology.
Garcelle Beauvais is glad Kyle Richards said that they “were good”
TMZ caught up with Garcelle outside of LAX, the second time the outlet has asked her about the situation with Kyle. She quickly confirmed that she and Kyle had talked and made up after the now-viral “lesbian comment” on the latest episode of RHOBH.
Garcelle was relieved to hear that Kyle said they were “good” after the drama on the show. She reiterated that she never meant to harm Kyle. She was just encouraging her to live her authentic self and not be afraid to do so.
After all, even Kyle has said that she’s more comfortable than ever questioning her sexuality. Rumors did abound due to her friendship with Morgan Wade and even more recently with Kesha. But Kyle obviously didn’t take too kindly to Garcelle saying it out loud.
Garcelle, on the other hand, just meant to encourage Kyle if that’s what she wanted to do following her split from Mauricio Umansky.
While Garcelle didn’t share the specifics about their off-camera conversation, she confirmed that she hadn’t issued an apology. And, she felt Kyle owed her one for calling her an assh*le on the RHOBH after show, in the wake of lesbian-gate.
Overall, Garcelle is optimistic about her and Kyle’s friendship. She admitted it would likely be hashed out and discussed at the reunion which has yet to be filmed.
