Real Housewives of New York Season 15 is nearly over. With everything winding down, Ubah Hassan can’t help but reflect with the rest of the cast.
Seeing as part 2 of the reunion is just around the corner, of course, Ubah has plenty to think about. Let’s not forget how distressed the season finale had her. But it’s not just the finale that has her reflecting. There was also a miscommunication with Racquel Chevremont.
Ubah found herself worried about how clean their Puerto Rican locale was. Racquel didn’t seem to take kindly to that. However, there was more to the little tiff than it seemed. So, what did Ubah have to say about the whole thing after the fact?
Why Ubah Hassan had a problem with Racquel’s accommodations
Ubah recently spoke with Glamour about all things RHONY. She addressed her comments during the trip to Puerto Rico. “I’m hurt by how my comments about the beach in Puerto Rico were misrepresented. I’m someone who isn’t above apologizing when I’m wrong, but I can’t take responsibility for feelings that are just meant to stir drama.”
“I explained to Racquel that I wasn’t talking about the ocean – I was talking about the stream of water we had to cross to get to where we were sitting. I warned Sai [De Silva] not to step in because she had a cut and I didn’t want her to get an infection. Racquel heard my explanation, but it wasn’t shown.” Ubah also pointed out how Racquel’s comments must’ve confused the audience.
She went on, “It feels like I was an easy target for her to get involved in the group drama, and that’s unfair to me. Racquel could have said, ‘At first, I was upset with Ubah’s comment about the beach, but after we spoke, I understood she wasn’t talking about the beach itself.’ That would’ve been accurate and fair.” All in all, Ubah just had a f*cked up time in Puerto Rico.
