I don’t know what I was expecting from Tom Sandoval on Season 3 of The Traitors. So far, he has managed to spout off theories about anyone that pops into his head. He recently went after Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania, and she wasn’t amused. Plus, he threw out Chrishell Stause’s name right after the Traitors were selected. Did I mention that she felt she was targeted because she is friends with Sandoval’s ex, Ariana Madix? And now Sandoval’s former bestie, Tom Schwartz, is giving his opinion on Sandoval’s performance.
Tom Schwartz didn’t fail to mention Sandoval’s pit stains
Recently, Schwartz appeared on the LadyGang podcast, where he happily discussed The Traitors. He is into it! “I’m loving [The] Traitors. This is my first season. I want to hear your guys’ take, like, maybe a 30-second take,” the Vanderpump Rules alum said. “Can we go around the room?… just Traitors in general.”
One of the podcast hosts, Keltie Knight said, “The fact that you’re mixing Boston Rob [Mariano] from Survivor and these people [from] The Challenge … and then with, like, Chrishell [Stause] from Selling Sunset, and Tom Sandoval, who looks confused the whole time. I’m like, when have you never had the main character energy? He looks so out of his comfort zone,” she added.
Finally, Schwartz weighed in. “I like how earnest or how serious he takes everything. You know, he’s so unintentionally funny. Sorry, Tom, if you see this,” Schwartz said. “He’s so unintentionally funny in Traitors. Those pit stains were remarkable. Sorry, Tom.”
Of course, Schwartz is referencing Sandoval’s memorable entrance into the breakfast room, sporting some sweat marks clearly visible under his arms. So, Sandoval blamed his long flight and his lost baggage for the sweaty viral moment.
While he praised the wardrobe department’s excellence, he did take a swipe at one item of clothing. “[But] they gave me the thickest wool sweater I’ve ever worn. And man, that thing, I was sweating my ass off,” Sandoval stated.
However, Schwartz shot down that argument. “I mean, I don’t want to put him on the spot, but yeah, Jax [Taylor] and Tom are notorious for having sweaty pit stains. But I’ve never seen anything like those,” Schwartz said. Same, Schwartz. Same.
