Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Loved-up in First Selfie Since Baldoni Drama

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively put up a loved-up Instagram photo amid the Justin Baldoni controversy. The couple, known for their pranks and amusing banter online, shared a rare glimpse of their date night outing in a first selfie after the drama first began.

Lively reportedly filed a legal complaint against her “It Ends With Us” co-star in December, alleging repeated sexual harassment. She also accused Baldoni of starting a smear campaign against her, with The New York Times publishing an extensive report on the allegations. Meanwhile, Baldoni denied all accusations and sued her and The New York Times. The discussion around the lawsuits has since escalated, causing a social media frenzy.

Amid the Justin Baldoni controversy and a potential legal battle looming, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively made time for a date night and were all smiles in a new photo. Reynolds deflected from making another light-hearted joke about his wife and showed his endless support for her in a selfie from their recent outing. He shared the selfie on his Instagram Stories as Lively captured them getting cozy on the streets.

For their night out, the “Deadpool” actor wore what appeared to be a black and white checkered cardigan. Moreover, he layered it over an all-white tee and paired his glasses with the fit. In the meantime, Lively bundled up in a houndstooth-print coat and other knitwear. More evidently, the photo proved that it wasn’t one of their glam outings as they kept their attires and appearances minimalistic.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s outing and the photo came after Justin Baldoni published a website called Lawsuit Info. The site shares detailed updates pertaining to his lawsuits against the “Gossip Girl” actor and The New York Times, as per the BBC. Moreover, lawyers for both Baldoni and Lively attended a pretrial meeting at a federal Manhattan court on February 3. The judge later noted how he could be compelled to move up the trial date originally set for March 2026.
