Breakups are never easy and sadly even long relationships can get ugly after a split. And it looks like that’s what’s happening with Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover. Infidelity rumors abound and Amanda Batula of Summer House spoke in defense of Paige and slammed Craig for allowing rumors to continue.
And she’s not the only one. It almost seems like folks are coming in to close ranks behind their friends. Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll has spoken about how he believes Paige has moved on with another man, while Patricia Altschul said that she thought Paige was mean to Craig during their relationship.
Amanda Batula thinks Craig should at least shut down the cheating rumors
The Southern Charm stars have made it clear where they stand, but Summer House won’t be outdone. Amanda and Kyle Cooke share their take on things with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
“To not clear up any of the cheating rumors is insanity,” Amanda said shaking her head. “That was still your girlfriend of three years. Like, stand up for her a bit. He’s been silent.”
And she’s not wrong. While Craig did appear to be the more wounded one after Paige announced their split back in December, it doesn’t mean that Paige has done all the things she’s being accused of.
Kyle and Amanda even made comments alluding to Craig maybe not being as shocked as he claimed to be when they parted ways.
“The summer prior Craig and I were talking,” Kyle shared. “And he said, ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t make it’ and I was like …” Kyle looked incredulous. It seems odd to say for someone who was ready to propose marriage.
“But he was ‘shocked,’” Amanda added with a hint of sarcasm. She seemed to further hint that Craig and Paige had had many conversations about their fluctuating relationship. And Paige clarified their break-up timeline to confirm she was still single.
In either case, it looks like Craig is ready to move on. He’s joined the dating app Raya and Amanda can’t wait for him to make a connection.
“Those girls are so lucky. I can’t wait for them to match with him,” Amanda shared. “Good luck.”
