Viewers of Sister Wives have gotten to know Janelle Brown as the calmest of the bunch. The mother of six has always had a head for numbers, and Kody Brown rarely used her as a doormat. However, she still lived a pretty conservative life while married to the polygamist. Now that she is free, Janelle is trying things she never has before, including a few alcoholic drinks.

I agree with most Sister Wives viewers who feel the best storylines are with Janelle and Christine Brown. And the most recent episode was no different, as the two took part in a road trip. Along the way, the duo needed a pit stop. But Janelle didn’t know she’d be starting her bucket list with some spirits. “I’m sitting here, in this bar in Louisiana, having a shot, and I’m like, ‘Wow, my life is about to really change” noted the TLC star. Fans learned that while Janelle has had the occasional glass of wine with dinner, she has never had hard alcohol.
David Wooley decided the group should have a celebratory shot. “All right, I’m a little nervous because I have never done a shot,” Janelle shared. Christine told the bartender the group was celebrating “a purchase of property and a purchase of a new home. A new life.” The shot of choice was a slippery nipple which is made up of butterscotch and Bailey’s.
Christine’s advice was, “Just down it.” After a nice toast, Janelle paused, then threw back the show. With her face scrunched, she added, “That’s not bad.” And this is why we love Janelle!
