Todd Chrisley isn’t done speaking up about the mistreatment he is facing behind bars. The Chrisley Knows Best alum is crying foul anew because he alleges that guards from FPC Pensacola in Florida have singled him out because he is a supporter of President Trump. According to him, they even removed a MAGA sticker from his cell.
The news comes from Todd’s lawyer, Jay Surgent. Jay tells TMZ about the nasty treatment he continues to face behind bars. This isn’t a new song. It’s one Todd has been singing for over a year. Even his daughter Savannah Chrisley has been fighting to shed light on how the prison mistreats her father.
Todd Chrisley feels his support for the President earns him more mistreatment
Savannah has been fighting for mommy and daddy to be released from their cells. She has always maintained that their punishment was too harsh. And she has been trying to get her parents out through appeals. The Chrisley family is “jumping for joy” for the re-elected President and hoping he will intervene for them.
It’s no secret they are avid supporters of the POTUS. And according to Todd, this fact has now earned him even more mistreatment in prison. He said that recently a prison guard ripped off the MAGA sticker he had placed on a chair in his cell.
Todd didn’t say anything to the guard in fear of further retaliation but he felt the action was unfair and uncalled for. He shared that other inmates have stickers on chairs in their cells. But his was only one removed.
Jay also revealed that Todd shared his cell goes through a daily “shakedown” by the guards. This includes flipping his mattress, throwing his books on the floor, and searching through his clothes. He claims a prison guard even poured soda on his bed.
Todd’s attorney believes this alleged poor treatment is due to Todd and the Chrisley family bringing attention to the bad conditions at the prison. Ironically, FPC Pensacola is being shut down this year and Todd is looking at a transfer.
But that doesn’t mean he is backing down. Savannah shared that she will do whatever she can to stop the demolition of the prison until she gets the evidence she needs to prove the facility is uninhabitable.
