Kristen Doute Promises The Valley Season 2 Won’t Be About Lala Kent

Kristen Doute has great news for fans of The Valley who aren’t fans of Lala Kent.

Lala failed to be fully supportive of Ariana Madix in the wake of Scandoval during Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules. As a result, many fans turned against her. The Valley cast includes several familiar VPR faces who still happen to be friends with Lala. Some viewers were worried that Lala would bring her brand of drama over to The Valley.

Though Lala will make a few appearances in the upcoming Season 2, Kristen seemingly wanted to make one thing clear: Season 2 is not about the pasta Lala!

Sure, Lala – along with fellow VPR alums Tom Schwartz and Scheana Shay—will make some guest appearances. Apparently, Scheana might’ve made some waves. However, Kristen assures fans the focus is still on the core Valley cast and their own messy, entertaining lives.

After the Instagram account @cici.loves.you posted Bravo’s first look at The Valley Season 2 on Tuesday, Kristen jumped into the comments to clear up some fan concerns.

One fan who was worried that Lala might get too much screen time bluntly commented, “Not looking forward to seeing Lala but based on her recent behavior with the exit of VPR, I’m optimistic that this will be a bad season for her, which I will enjoy.”

Kristen quickly reassured them, responding, “The Valley isn’t about her so come along for our ride!”

If the teaser is any indication, there’s plenty of mess to go around. “There’s no question that our group is fractured,” Kristen teases in the preview. Meanwhile, Brittany Cartwright hints at serious tension in her post-Jax Taylor life, saying, “All hell broke loose.” And then there’s Michelle Saniei, who seems to be at odds with her ex-husband Jesse Lally, reminding him, “I’m the mother of your child.” Yeah, it’s safe to say things aren’t exactly calm in The Valley.

While the show is full of chaos, Kristen’s personal life is looking a little sweeter these days. She and her fianceé Luke Broderick are expecting a baby girl in June.

History tells us that if Jax is involved, there will already be a surplus of poor behavior and frustration – no Lala required!

Season 2 of The Valley is coming to Bravo “soon.”
