Former star of Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney, has confirmed that she and Ariana Madix are doing just fine, thank you very much. The confirmation comes on the heels of rumors that the two friends are feuding about their shared business, Something About Her.
Katie confirmed that she and her co-owner are working well together and better than ever. In fact, despite challenges with their former business partner, things are going great at the West Hollywood sandwich shop.
Katie Maloney cleared up rumors and called them “fan fiction”
The rumor began from an anonymous Reddit user who claimed that there has been tension between the owners ever since Ariana has been spending more time at their sandwich stop.
Ariana previously revealed that Katie holds the fort down while she is away for work. It seems that now that she had a little bit of time between gigs, Ariana is spending more time at the shop. In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, there was a secret shooting at the LA eatery which was apparently for a big national brand partnership. On top of that the store earned approximately $1.8M in merch sales alone.
Sounds like all is well with Something About Her. And Katie confirmed this by replying to an Instagram user who inquired about the feud allegations.
The user, @blondehairblackheart shared a screenshot of the DM exchange they had with the Disrespectfully podcast host. In the conversation, Katie was asked, “So much speculation around you and Ariana feuding. I wanted to see if you had any official comment to shut up the trolls?”
Katie replied that the feud rumors are “…complete fan fiction, Lol. Ariana and I are as good as ever. We were both so confused where all that spawned from, but I can only up with fitting some kind of bias.”
Looks like there’s no truth to the rumors. Both Katie and Ariana are busy moving on to life post-VPR, as the show announces new cast moving forward. They don’t seem worried though because it looks like they’ll have plenty to keep them busy.
