Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke have always been supportive of each other. The Summer House boys play hard together and work together too. Their working relationship started with Carl functioning as VP of Sales for Kyle’s company Loverboy. Now, Kyle is returning the favor and advising Carl with his fledgling business.
Carl spoke about opening a non-alcoholic bar on Season 8 of Summer House. The reality TV star realized his dreams and is opening Soft Bar + Cafe this year. And it turns out that his buddy Kyle is helping along the way.

“I’m an advisor to the business,” Kyle exclusively told Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
And there is a tit-for-tat situation. The company’s non-alcoholic products will have the “perfect home” at Soft Bar + Cafe.
“I think down the road, some activations [and] some [collaborations] are certainly in the works,” Kyle said of further projects with Carl. “He’s been so supportive of me and us and Loverboy that we want to kind of reciprocate. [I’m] just excited for him to get the doors open.”
In November 2023, Carl returned to Loverboy in a consulting role. Perhaps Carl’s inclusion in the company’s non-alcoholic line pushed him to pursue the soft bar idea. In an August 2024 interview, Carl shared his inspiration …
“It’s been a journey, for sure. I feel like this is my calling,” Carl said. “I’ve just had this drive inside of me that’s said, ‘You’ve got to go for this.’ What I want to do, to my knowledge, doesn’t exist yet. And it’s amazing to be in a position where I can introduce a new concept and help redefine the non-alcoholic industry in a way. I’m really proud of what we’re creating and what I hope will help a lot of people feel like they have a place to go for the first time.”
Soft Bar + Cafe will open in June 2025.
