It’s got to be cringe for Shep Rose to relive some of his moments with Sienna Evans on Season 10 of Southern Charm. Clearly, the Bravolebrity was quite smitten, but the former Miss Bahamas did not seem as enthusiastic. And it’s quite the pickle as to why the playboy chose to declare his heart when it seemed more like a casual hook-up.
But even someone like Shep can misjudge a situation. According to Austen Kroll, Shep missed the feeling of a solid relationship like what he had with Taylor Ann Green. As for the man himself, he definitely struggled with his feelings while filming.
Shep Rose had to “operate on faith” with Sienna Evans
On a recent episode, Shep shared his concerns about Sienna’s lack of enthusiasm with Austen and Craig Conover. During a video call with her, Shep suggested bringing the Southern Charm cast to the Bahamas for a vacation. Yet Sienna didn’t seem excited to see her then-boyfriend or meet his friends.
“I think I was 24 the last time I felt this unsure of myself and twisted up about somebody,” he said.
“I’m not an insecure person, thank goodness. But I thought I wanted somebody who is my peer, and then have an equal balance of power, right? But she might be up here,” he said, gesturing upwards. “And I don’t like it one bit.”
“When you’re really into somebody, your mind can play tricks on you,” Shep continued, “And I thought I was done with all that.”
Perhaps Shep had some experience to pull from. But he admitted that it was hard to keep zen with Sienna. The long-distance issue was enough of a challenge. And the Southern Charm star professed his love after only their second weekend together.
“You have to train yourself sometimes,” Shep continued, “You just have to operate on faith at that point, but your faith is easily tested.”
As of the Bravo Fan Fest in November 2024, Shep confirmed that he was single. He added that he “got pretty cut down” when the romance ended.
