Todd Chrisley Begs POTUS To Pardon Him and Wife Julie

We’re just a few weeks into Donald Trump’s second presidency, and he’s already issued countless pardons to criminals of all shapes and sizes. Meanwhile, Todd Chrisley is sitting in his jail cell right now wondering when his is coming. The Chrisley Knows Best star is praying for a Get Out of Jail Free card for him and his wife, Julie Chrisley.

As you probably know, Todd is serving a 12-year prison sentence for his role in a multi-million-dollar fraud scheme. Julie is serving a seven-year sentence, and according to their family attorney, they’re feeling hopeful that Trump will undo what our justice system has done.

Here’s what we know…

Please, please, please, don’t make them rot in jail

Last year, Julie thought she would get set free during a resenting hearing sparked by a procedural error. The judge ended up sending her right back to jail with the exact same punishment. With that in mind, attorney Jay Surgent told NBC News that they’re confident Trump can help set them free.

“They believe that the president will seriously consider pardoning both Julie and Todd Chrisley as a result of the unfair treatment they received in the criminal justice system,” Jay said.

According to Jay, the Chrisley family had their “constitutional rights” violated when the Feds uncovered their fraud scheme. Therefore, they need Trump’s help to make it right.

According to Jay, they’ll submit a pardon request to Trump’s legal counsel within the next four months. However, the Chrisleys aren’t the only reality stars hoping for a pardon. Joe Exotic from Netflix’s Tiger King is just as desperate to get out from behind bars during the second Trump administration. Plus, Real Housewives of New Jersey husband Joe Giudice is also hoping to have his deportation case reevaluated.

Chrisley Knows Best is still streaming on Peacock.
