The numbers are starting to dwindle on Season 3 of The Traitors, but Alan Cumming says there’s still plenty of drama on the horizon. The Emmy-award-winning host recently teased what we can expect for the remainder of the season, which he calls the most chaotic one yet. From the Traitors continuing to sabotage each other to a fight Alan almost had to break up at the roundtable, it sounds like we’ve barely scratched the surface of Season 3.
More drama coming our way on The Traitors Season 3
Alan spoke to People about Season 3 of the Traitors, and he said he was having a hard time understanding why the Traitors have been so chaotic. It all started when Boston Rob Mariano took down Bob the Drag Queen.
“I mean, I started thinking Boston Rob, you can sort of think that’s his thing,” Alan noted. “He’s always a bit of a sh*t.”
He continued, “Danielle [Reyes], to me, I’m just like, ‘What are you doing? What are you doing?’ There’s no game. It’s just chaos. And Carolyn [Wiger] I think is just sort of a chaos sidekick.”
After Rob’s banishment in Episode 7, Danielle and Carolyn became the last Traitors standing. It seems like they might finally start working together, but Alan said there’s still a lot of messiness that’s set to unfold.
“There’s some even more juicy stuff,” he teased. “There were bits in the roundtables that I actually thought I was going to have to break up a fight.”
Although Alan is having a hard time wrapping his head around some of the gameplay, the one thing he does have a solid understanding of is his character in the castle. Somehow, he’s the least chaotic part of Season 3. Alan said he loves the queerness, he loves the fashion, and he’s evolving the role a little more with each season.
Alan explained, “He’s like this weird rich lord who owns a castle, but his sort of sadistic pleasure, he invites all these dopey American stars to come and play this game and has a manservant and a dog.”
The Traitors airs new episodes on Thursdays at 9/8c on Peacock.
