Lisa Rinna exited Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following Season 12. Currently airing is Season 14, where the ladies are reaching all-time highs with the viewers. But Lisa begs to differ with the critics, or at least she did, and now, she is sorry (somewhat).
Lisa went on a podcast several days ago where she slammed her former series. She compared it to the Titanic, as she presumed this series was sinking and fading fast. Cue her former boss daddy, Andy Cohen, requesting a word with his former hot-mess-express star.
She gave an apology, of sorts…
Lisa Rinna’s apology to Andy Cohen goes something like: Dear Andy, I am sorry-adjacent
Lisa got called into the principal’s office courtesy of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. After reminding Lisa that she still has friends on RHOBH, Andy asked her why she said what she said. In response, Lisa asked, “Hello, have you met me?”
He has. So has Erika Jayne, who told Lisa that Andy was annoyed with her. Therefore, Lisa supplied him with an apology and an explanation that took on a circular pattern from hell. It was as if the hamster wheel was moving, but the hamster was dead.
“I put my foot in my mouth. That show’s gonna go on and on and on. I misused my words,” Lisa stressed. Andy repeated her misused statement here, causing Lisa to state it again while noting, “Okay, the boat that’s sinking. I don’t know.”
Confused, Andy asked, “That’s what you meant to say? It’s a boat that’s sinking and not the Titanic?” Equally frustrated, Lisa answered, “I meant to say Titanic, and I said it, and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.” Not quite an apology, but it made Andy smile.
Andy happily obliged. He then praised Lisa, telling her that her statements felt old-school Real Housewives-like, where deflections rang supreme. “It was a non-apology apology,” he said. Lisa loved this. But she does not “feel bad about” anything she has expressed.
Instead, she owns it. Whatever it is.
