The Real Housewives of Potomac OG Ashley Darby is free to begin fully “Healing and Thriving.” Her divorce from Michael Darby is now finally official!
Ashley and Michael’s divorce was finalized earlier this week. The two had been married for eight years before separating in April 2022. She then filed for divorce in November 2024. The whole ordeal ended without much drama, and Ashley and Michael will share custody of their two sons, Dean and Dylan.

According to online court records obtained by TMZ, a Virginia court signed off on Ashley and Michael’s divorce on Monday, February 10.
The process ended peacefully, with both parties agreeing to share custody. Michael described the money matters as “amicable and fair,” which was probably a lot easier to achieve due to their prenup.
Ashley was pretty open about their separation and divorce journey on RHOP. After their split, she talked about being hesitant to fully move on, which contributed to this drawn-out mess.
Many viewers and her castmates were flabbergasted when Ashley revealed that she and Michael bought a house together after separating, with Michael’s name remaining on the mortgage. Despite everyone’s concerns, Ashley felt it was the best financial decision and appreciated having more space for her kids, even though Gollum- er, Michael – still had a key.
She was also candid about struggling with depression during this transition, crediting therapy and supportive friends for helping her through.
Ashley and Michael have both been moving on. In a January appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Ashley spilled the tea on Michael. “Michael’s in the streets every weekend.” She added, “People tell me all the time. Which I’m happy, go live your life, have a great time, but I hear all about it.”
As we’ve seen throughout Season 9, Ashley began dating Josh Gudenburr. However, it looks like they’re no longer sharing “Coffee and Love.”
