I am eagerly waiting for Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The series was a fascinating look at a group of Mormon moms who were influencers. There was a swinging scandal, marital troubles, and plenty of drama within the MomTok group. The show was perfection! Now Jennifer Affleck is sharing some happy news. Her family is growing!
Jennifer Affleck is pregnant with baby number three
During the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Jennifer’s husband, Zac Affleck, threatened to divorce her when she accompanied her friends to a Chippendales show. To her credit, she left before the show started because her husband was upset. However, that didn’t stop Zac from rage-texting her all night.
There are also some questions as to whether Jennifer would appear in Season 2 of the show. Jennifer quit MomTok and moved with Zac to New York while he went to medical school. I think that Jennifer is one of the MVPs of the first season, so I hope she returns in some capacity.
Now Jennifer is sharing the happy news that she is pregnant with her third child. The couple already have a three-year-old daughter, Nora, and a 19-month-old son named Lucas.
“I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us. We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!” Jennifer told PEOPLE.
The couple has decided to wait until the delivery to find out the sex of their baby. “I have a strong feeling it’s a girl.” She added, “I’ve dreamed about this little girl for a while now, and I truly believe she’s the one I’m carrying.”
Of course, Jennifer admitted that she had a rough time during her first trimester. “The first trimester was really challenging mentally and physically; I experienced all the symptoms – nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and mood swings,” she explained. “It’s definitely been chaotic, no doubt about it.”

However, filming the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had its own challenges. “Season 1 took a toll, not only on my marriage but also on my mental health. There were many dark days,” Jennifer stated. “There’s so much more to our story than people realize.” Jennifer and Zac plan to share more of their story in Season 2.
“Filming can be incredibly mentally draining, and adding pregnancy along with all the challenges I faced this last season was a big challenge. After dealing with the backlash from Season 1 and stepping into Season 2 with a lot of baggage,” Jennifer said, “this pregnancy has been the toughest.”
Of course, Jennifer is also focused on preparing for their new arrival. “I hope for a happy and healthy delivery. I’m aiming for an unmedicated and natural birth, something I’ve been preparing for and working towards,” Jennifer said.
It sounds like Jennifer and Zac will be part of Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which is great news for fans.
