Sold on SLC Season 2: What We Hope To See

Sold on SLC Season 1 just wrapped. After eight episodes of selling not that much, the agents at Presidio took off their mic packs and returned to business as usual. Except things at Presidio will never be the same again.

For one, this brokerage is now a featured player on Bravo. Therefore, their phone lines are likely busier than ever. But also, truths and chaotic responses from management transpired. And when the latter failed to handle things well, a beloved agent left.

It was a mess, and yes, we loved it. But it was also repetitive, giving us the same fight week after week. Bravo has yet to announce a Season 2 for this series, but if Sold on SLC does return, we have a few thoughts about how these agents might be able to help turn their ski lift around. All this would involve are new storylines and a few fresh faces at Presidio (and beyond).

We hope to see the agents selling real estate, not striper poles, at Presidio

If you cannot take a joke about striper poles, then stay out of the strip clubs, right, Malaysia Fua? As our life of this series party, Malaysia made one joke about poles before Matt Jones clapped back, doing his best to shut her down. Matt hated people laughing about his antics, but, as Malaysia quipped, if you cannot take the heat, maybe refrain from doing the deed in the first place, non-buddy.

Even still, once we learned about Matt and his hidden love of a fun time, this storyline consumed the entire series. The word accountability entered the conversation next, but Matt failed to understand this term from Episode 1 and on. It was a lot of the same thing, so by the end of Season 1, we were ready to see this nonsense go.

Due to this repetitive drama, one vital element of this series got the shaft: real estate. Most of us cannot afford a luxurious house with extra rooms for activities. Our poorness is why we turn towards reality television, especially when a series within this genre offers to bring us inside these extravagant, never-going-to-happen-for-us mansions.

Watching Kenny Sperry produce a thrill-seeking video to help spark interest in his latest project was fun, but this storyline was brief. Likewise, the other agents also scored listings in Season 1, which, yay. But again, the Matt drama overshadowed these gains, leaving us with a handful of homes and a boatload of BS instead.

So, if Sold on SLC gets renewed, we hope to see less love thrown at poles and unaccountable humans. In exchange, we hope to see spare crafting rooms, his and her saunas, bathrooms for pets, and other rich folk-styled amenities that make up the homes of our dreams in Utah.

The Real Brokerage should join Season 2 so we can keep tabs on Tyna Edwards

Tyna confesses she is thinking aboout leaving Presidio in this week’s all new SoldOnSLC!

Tyna Edwards spoke often about leaving Presidio. She did not feel supported by her boss, Jennifer Yeo, as Jennifer upheld Matt, who (allegedly) gossiped about Tyna. Shockingly, Tyna announced that she would remain at Presidio during Episode 8. But then, Tyna rescinded her decision during this same episode.

Tyna now works for Real Brokerage. She is not alone here, as this brokerage also hired Paige Steckling, who worked for Jennifer before Season 1 aired. This series CANNOT lose Tyna. Therefore, Sold on SLC should pray about featuring a second brokerage, allowing us to keep tabs on our queen of Sold on SLC.

Sarah Martindale would also benefit from this addition, as her husband works at Real. So, Sarah can pop in and out of Real and Presidio to help tie in the storylines as needed.

The only person who would not benefit from this collab is Jennifer. Jennifer likes to win, so she might not willingly share the spotlight with another brokerage. Couple this with the fact that Real already contains two of her former employees, and you might get a hard NOPE from Jennifer.

However, this series needs Tyna, so Jennifer might need to find a way to deal with her losses.

We also hope to see new men added to Sold on SLC

Kenny and Matt were the male stars of this series during Season 1 (which, meh). Christian Cruz was also present, but his role quickly became the quirky side-kick to Jennifer, complete with one-liners and a tiny speedo to help break up the drama brought on by his colleagues. But then, in Episode 7, Tyler, another male agent at Presidio, appeared, and OH MY LAWD, Tyler was who we needed this entire time.

Tyler must be a top producer at Presidio. Otherwise, he would not have scored an invite to the staff retreat that consumed Episodes 7 and 8. So, we already know that Tyler has the chops to cut it as a realtor on Bravo. But let us look at how his behaviors presented to see why Tyler might be a good fit for Season 2.

Matt is not accountable, and Kenny loves Matt. So, these two are a bit of a circular problem in this series. Thankfully, Tyler is a different type of man. After Matt filled Tyler in on his arguments with the ladies, making sure to keep his sins small in his retelling, Tyler chose not to engage.

Instead of adding more fuel to this dumpster fire, Tyler instructed Matt to remain vulnerable and keep moving forward. You can stay, Tyler. And Christian can stay as well. Because if Sold on SLC gets a second season, we need a better showing of men on this cast.

Sold on SLC is streaming on Peacock.
