Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has always been open about how much she misses her father. He passed away unexpectedly when she was only 16 years old. Well, Long Island Medium and Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits star Theresa Caputo shared a message for Melissa when they were guests during Jeff Lewis Live.
How did Theresa Caputo connect with Melissa Gorga’s late father?
Melissa has always been shaded for her storylines. Her main storyline on the show was fighting with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, and her squad. However, there was a storyline about whether Melissa’s father had another daughter.
During her appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Theresa spoke up. “I don’t mean to interrupt, but there’s a father figure for you here,” she said. “I don’t know if your dad passed or your father-in-law or be, it would have to be someone like a father. And I don’t think he thought that this was real ’cause he was chatting behind me and like, kind of like, and a little like making fun,” Theresa said. “So whether that would be like his personality and it’s almost like I almost heard like, ‘Oh, she’s not gonna interrupt Jeff.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, watch me.’”
“Oh, my God. Yeah, my father,” Melissa responded. “So the way that your dad was speaking to me, would that be him?” the medium asked. “Yeah. Like a smart ass,” Melissa said. “Well, we like to say sassy,” Theresa stated.
What message did Melissa Gorga’s father have for her?
“Your dad, when I just saw him behind me, I saw him like kind of wiping his tears and he says, ‘Please tell my daughter, I’m sorry for what she has gone through.’ Now it’s a very vague statement,” the medium explained. “But your dad showed me my symbol for where a soul wants to thank someone for carrying themselves with dignity and grace. Is your dad gone for some time?” Melissa confirmed that he had been.
“Because he went like this to me, which means a block of time where you feel that your dad might not know of things that you’ve … gone through. Maybe even with your children, if you had children after he passed or their achievements in life,” Theresa said. “It’s his way of acknowledging that he has not missed out.”
After Melissa thanked Theresa, Jeff jumped in. “So you have a lot, a lot of accomplishments,” Jeff told Melissa. “Yeah. My dad passed away when I was 16,” she stated. “I mean, was it a surprise when he died?” Jeff asked.
“Yes. He hit a tree in a car accident and died instantly. Broke his neck,” Melissa said. “So it was very, it was tragic. You know, he was 49 years old.” She continued, discussing how she grieved his loss. “It was actually like, I’ve always wanted him. I was upset that he never met Joe [Gorga]. I was upset he wasn’t at my wedding. And then he never got to meet my children ’cause he loved my sisters’ kids,” Melissa added.
Then Theresa confirmed that he did meet Melissa’s children. “Oh, they do. They hold the souls before coming here into the physical world,” Theresa shared.
