Captain Jason Chambers is arguably the most eligible bachelor on Bravo. Yet he’s been reluctant to date because of professional demands and the need to prioritize his daughter. But just because the logistics are off, that doesn’t mean that the Below Deck Down Under star doesn’t consider the options. And it seems that Paige DeSorbo has caught his eye.
It’s a dating pool of Bravo stars. Jason had a flirty time with Lala Kent at BravoCon. Last year, he said he could see himself dating Lindsay Hubbard. And in a recent interview, the Australian native expressed an interest in the Summer House star.
Jason admits that he might have “missed that boat”
Jason gave an exclusive interview with Us Weekly during which he was asked to choose between Paige, her Summer House costar Ciara Miller, and Katie Maloney as a potential match. The captain is interested in the fashion contributor, though he may have missed his opportunity.
“No [I haven’t slid in her DMs] because it’s a little bit raw now,” Jason said of her recent breakup with Craig Conover. Then he added, “I might have missed that boat.”
Since splitting with the Southern Charm star in November, Paige has been linked to Joe D’Amelio. The duo were spotted holding hands on a trip together in New Orleans.
Jason thinks he will start dating again in 2025
The Summer House star announced her breakup on a December 2024 episode of her podcast The Giggly Squad.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig,” Paige said at the time. “I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us.”
Craig’s official statement on Instagram Story had a much different tone. He said that the breakup happened “right before the holidays” and it “shocked” him.
“I was very shocked. And it’s OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it. Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff,” he said.
As for Jason, he was previously quoted as saying that he thinks 2025 is the year he will meet someone special.
