At this point, I’m not sure it is anyone’s fault that Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover broke up. The Summer House star dated the Sewing Down South founder for three years but their relationship never really seemed to be going anywhere. Craig wanted to settle down, while Paige still wanted to live her single life. Shortly before the new year, it was announced that they had gone their separate ways. And frankly, no one was surprised. But what did come as a surprise was Paige’s all-out assault on the Southern Charm star at the end of last night’s Summer House Season 9 premiere.
The Summer House premiere revealed that Paige DeSorbo has a lot to say about her breakup
Paige just set every Summer House follower up for a major showdown after the premiere of Season 9. She has been taking the high road for some time when it came to her breakup with Craig. Even though Craig has refused to really speak out, his silence has spoken volumes and cast Paige as a cheater in some Bravo fan’s minds.
At the end of the hour-long episode, fans are transported to six months later, which is December 2024. Bravo chose to pick the cameras back up and film Paige, who was sitting in Lindsay Hubbard’s apartment talking about the split. She isn’t crying or sad. Instead, the Giggly Squad podcaster is mad as hell.
Happily back in her comfort zone, aka New York City, Amanda Batula and Lindsay hang onto Paige’s every word. The fashion influencer is talking candidly about the recent media coverage and stories. She questions, “I’m like, Craig, what are you talking about? I feel like you’re so betraying me right now.”
As already mentioned, Paige has tried to defend herself on her podcast, noting she did not cheat on Craig. But again, his silence has made the breakup even more confusing as he has skirted around the question even when directly asked.
Paige is mentioning it all
Obviously, their trust is broken beyond repair due to this. And Paige is no longer trying to protect her ex-boyfriend from the stampede of trolls that are about to rain down on him. Paige, in all her might, then drops perhaps the biggest bomb in Summer House history.
“You’re gonna let people say that I’m a cheater,” she says. “I caught you texting two b*tches in the course of our relationship.” My jaw was on the floor as she clearly was alleging that Craig may have been the one straying in their relationship. No wonder Paige didn’t want to settle down; she didn’t trust him.
Amanda and Lindsay are just as shocked as viewers. The room falls silent, save for the rhythmic hum of Lindsay’s breast pump — which, if you ask me, sounds just as stunned by the reveal as everyone else. Paige doesn’t get mad. She gets even. For good measure, she adds, “Now you’re dead to me.”
Without a doubt, Paige is one of the most beloved members of Summer House. And she will be rallied around. Personally, I can’t wait to hear what Ciara Miller has to say about this.
Craig Conover isn’t looking too great right now
The shocking revelation came less than two months after Paige shared the news of her breakup. While on her podcast, she told listeners, “Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. I love him. And I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real-time and what you want for your future.”
Now, we still have an entire season of Summer House to get through before the big bombshell. But the trailer showed that fans will be seeing their relationship fizzling out. One scene showed Paige and Ciara lying in bed as the fashionista cried about possibly losing everything if she were to split from Craig. However, the model saw a different side to the story.
Ciara noted that Craig gave off hater energy and rarely seemed to support Paige’s wins. This point was valid. Craig has often been filmed asking Paige about her intentions and trying to get her to commit to the big move down South. But in my opinion, Paige has been nothing but honest about her life goals. He just never really rallied behind her. All I can say is the gloves are off.
