The hot months are upon us, well not exactly. But Summer House is about to be back on Bravo, which means things are going to be heating up. With Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke broken up and Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke allegedly doing better than ever, it will be one hell of a Valentine’s Day. But who would you pick to be your one and only Valentine if you could choose?
What would Jesse Solomon do?
Even though he might be a bit over the top for me, I imagine a lot of Summer House fans would love to snag a date with this hottie. Even though Jesse Solomon had a rough start in the house, he redeemed himself by the end of the season, showing he was the soul of the group. Jesse is your man if you are looking for a chill February 14. The trained singer doesn’t let a lot get to him, as most drama rolls right off his back. If you’re lucky enough, he might even write you a personalized song before the date is over.
Jesse is a wholesome class clown who just wants to see everyone get along. Even though he might have come off a bit like a playboy, I think Jesse is a keeper. He would make a great Valentine for the sheer fact that he would plan a night of laughs and memory-making.
Snag a date with Lindsay Hubbard, and you might get a sandwich
I do not doubt that Lindsay would start any Valentine’s Day date with a shot of Fireball. Not only is she a firecracker in the house, but the new mother would also be all about having a good time. I can see Lindsay taking a date to her local watering hole. There, they would possibly play a round of darts while making small talk over their beer.
If you are looking for a date who is smart and witty and can hold a conversation, the choice is Lindsay. If you are more of a listener and worried about figuring out what to talk about, Lindsay will put you right at ease. She can keep a chat going for hours. And if you’re lucky and hit it off, she might even invite you to her $ 10,000-a-month apartment and make you a sandwich. However, I would advise you to have Jersey Mike’s on speed dial in case she becomes activated.
Go to a rave with Kyle Cooke
Personally, I would choose Kyle as my Summer House Valentine, obviously, if he wasn’t married to the stunning Amanda (don’t come for me). The man is an enigma wrapped in chaotic energy and good vibes. I wouldn’t for a second believe that Kyle would plan a romantic night in Little Italy having a Lady and the Tramp moment. And that is okay. Without a doubt, Kyle would inevitably have a DJ gig scheduled for Cupid’s biggest day. And his date would be dragged along for support. But at least you get to wear a cute outfit.
Kyle would most likely be the life of the party. But if you’re willing to embrace the idea, he will include you, too. Prepare yourself for a night of dancing; Kyle will play your favorite song as his love language and, by the end, douse you with a Loverboy espresso martini to round out the evening.
Carl Radke is the romance king
Carl is still on the mend after his failed engagement with Lindsay. But if you are looking for a night of deep diving into your feelings and drinking kombucha at a dry bar, he is the choice for you. If you like tall, dark, and handsome, Carl comes through with flying colors. He has learned a lot from his earlier years and broke up with Lindsay, so he would be the guy to plan a romantic night out. Picture it: dinner at a little-known Thai place in Tribecca followed by a walk through the meat district. All of this is topped off with an innocent goodnight kiss on the cheek and a promise of a second date.
Whoever you choose as your Summer House Valentine, you can’t go wrong unless it’s West Wilson. Then you might be in trouble.
