Since Teddi Mellencamp left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she has had a lot on her plate. She hosts the popular podcast, Two Ts In A Pod with Tamra Judge. She also has three children with her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave. However, Teddi recently announced a serious, and scary, change in her health status.
Teddi Mellencamp’s divorce from Edwin Arroyave is moving forward, despite her health battle
On February 12, 2025, Teddi posted a frightening announcement on her Instagram. It seems that Teddi was dealing with “severe and debilitating headaches.” She was admitted to the hospital on February 11, 2025. “Doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months,” Teddi wrote.
She underwent surgery to remove two tumors. She stated that the rest of the brain tumors “will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.” Then Teddi added, that she felt “blessed” to be with “my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons.” As you may recall, in October 2022, Teddi was diagnosed with stage two melanoma.
Amid her health struggle, Teddi and Edwin were in the process of divorcing. Insiders told TMZ that the couple is still going to go through with the divorce. Edwin and Teddi filed for divorce in November 2024. However, Teddi’s health is, of course, the main concern of the family right now. Edwin and their three kids visited Teddi in the hospital before her surgery. The sources allegedly stressed to TMZ that the divorce is secondary to Teddi’s health battle.
Teddi’s bestie, RHOBH star Kyle Richards, and her friend, Morgan Wade, visited with Teddi after her surgery. Right now, Teddi is living with Kyle amid her divorce.
