Summer House is back to bring its special brand of drama to Bravo for Season 9, and we couldn’t be happier. Lindsay Hubbard returned to the Hamptons with a new (secret) man, a fresh outlook on life, and a major secret. Lindsay couldn’t wait until the first night back in the house to tell her roomies the big news – she was expecting her first child. As expected, the reactions were mixed.
Lindsay’s undoubtedly loving the motherhood phase of life. After filming last season, she welcomed a baby girl Gemma into her world. Apparently, Lindsay’s co-stars also noticed a change in Lindsay’s behavior as she prepared to enter her motherhood journey. Well, are we that shocked? She ended last season with the breakdown of her engagement to Carl Radke and came back with a bun in the oven. What a whirlwind.
Lindsay Hubbard’s new life
Carl, Kyle Cooke, and West Wilson spoke to People about what it was like heading into last summer with Lindsay. “She just seemed incredibly happy,” Kyle recalled. “She literally had the pregnancy glow and she was quite pleasant to be around.”
West chimed in to echo Kyle’s statement about Lindsay’s demeanor. “[I] found her really enjoyable this summer,” West said. He’s never been that great with his words.
Finally, Carl chimed in to share his two cents about handling his ex last summer. “Everybody’s having a good time with her. She was much happier and it made me happy seeing her happy,” Carl said. Now that’s growth. We know that there’s plenty of drama to be had during the rest of Summer House Season 9.
