I was hoping the Bravosphere would get one semi-clean breakup when it came to Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo. But alas, it looks like fans will be taken down the rabbit hole as we are forced to choose a side. Good or evil. Snark or sewing. Personally, I’ll always choose witty, aka the Summer House star. But something tells me this breakup is about to turn ugly. So somebody, please pass the popcorn.
Craig Conver is alleging Paige DeSorbo wasn’t innocent
Craig is very much under the assumption that his ex-girlfriend had been talking to Joe D’Amelio for several months before their split. One insider shared that the 32-year-old “was not to blame for the break up getting ugly.” Another source added that Craig “told an eventgoer at a recent home expo that Paige had been talking to Joe for six months.” The source wrote, “I sent a DM to you with a picture! My friend just met Craig in Minneapolis at a home expo, and he told her that as he was walking into the expo, he found out that Paige had been talking to her new man for SIX MONTHS. He said he’s “happy to be busy in Minnesota this weekend.”
There is definitely blood in the water, and Craig is trying to work himself up into a frenzy. Last month, the outlet reported that Joe’s ex had also accused Paige of sending inappropriate texts to her then-fiancée. The engagement ended in November. Rachel Durante wrote on social media, “During my relationship, disrespectful messages were sent to a man who was spoken for, with absolutely no regard or respect for another woman or her relationship, insinuating for him to leave me for her. As my relationship went on, the banter continued, and I was purposely made to feel insecure, and my relationship was undermined.”
Craig Conover’s timeline feels off
Even though Craig has claimed he didn’t want to talk about his breakup he sure has done a lot of finger-pointing. While on Watch What Happens Live, Craig tried to pass the buck, noting that the breakup was not mutual. “After Thanksgiving, I was in Toronto about to do a show.” He told Andy Cohen that Paige said, “I think we have to break up.” According to Craig, it was after the November holiday that they agreed to “Talk about it. I stayed at the apartment that week. But she wasn’t there. But we were still FaceTiming, and she said, ‘I miss you’ and stuff. I had no reason to think she was serious. I thought she was having a bad night or a breakdown.”
According to the Sewing Down South founder, the pair “had Thanksgiving with her family. But then I went to Toronto for an event, and she called me. But we’ve been together for three years and you know a lot of stuff that we aren’t going to talk about tonight. Plans we had. So when she called and broke up with me, the last thing I was going to do was the next day when I was being interviewed, ‘By the way, I think Paige broke up with me.’ I don’t know. I guess I was still processing.”
Craig Conover isn’t putting cheating rumors to bed
I almost feel like Craig feels like fans can’t handle the truth. But that is all any Summer House viewer wants to know. Craig has a funny way of skirting serious questions. And he has already pissed Paige off by not defending her against claims of infidelity. When asked, Craig ranted, “I’m not going to get sucked into the moment with them. Her cast is commenting on how I’m grieving. And I’m sorry I’m not reading Reddit every day and getting on there and defending her. Like I never said, ‘You cheated.’ So I’m not a part of this.” To many, it feels like Craig is looking for sympathy. And Paige seems to be getting the short end of the stick as she is spotted back out in the wild, possibly dating.
In her announcement, Paige made sure to be kind and thoughtful in her response, but Craig is coming in guns blazing. He said, “Paige lied on her podcast and said the break up was mutual. I didn’t tell her what to say. I got a text: ‘I’m announcing it on my podcast. She said it was mutual, which it wasn’t.” But two can play this game. As the Summer House premier showed the fashionista stating, “He’s dead to me,” after cameras picked back up and she hinted he had been the one talking to two girls during the course of their relationship. All I have to say is we need to get the popcorn ready for this sh*t show that is about the unfold.
