Love was in the air when Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky entered NYC’s Rockefeller Center to grace the “SNL 50: The Anniversary Special” celebration. The event commenced on February 16, marking the arrival of various A-list celebrities. However, Valentine’s week was all over Gaga and Polansky when they stole the spotlight with their romance.
Bringing sleek sophistication to the red carpet, the couple wore similar colors. While Gaga brought her avant-garde aesthetic to life with her draped charcoal gown, Polansky kept things classic in a black tuxedo. The singer’s gown, which was selected by Peri Rosenzweig and Nick Royal, featured an asymmetrical neckline and ended in a charming one-shoulder design.
Gaga maintained elegance with her body-hugging dress’ subtle ruching at the waist. At the same time, her black leather gloves added the Old Hollywood twist to her modern look. She complemented the ensemble with her jet-black, pin-straight long hair and blunt micro bangs to leave a dramatic effect.
Additionally, the actor’s smoky black-eye makeup went well with her sultry and fierce persona. However, MUA Sarah Tanno painted her pouty lips with a nude pink color, adding a subtle contrast to her fierceness.
Reciprocating her beauty with his dapper look, Polansky wore a timeless black tuxedo with a satin lapel. Furthermore, he sported an understated white dress shirt and a black bow tie, complementing his fiancée’s edgy flair.
Lady Gaga announced her engagement with Polansky at the Paris Summer Olympics in July 2024. She even gushed about feeling grateful at the Grammys to Entertainment Tonight. The singer confirmed she was “in a happy place” falling in love with her “best friend.” Moreover, while speaking to ELLE, she credited Polansky with helping write seven of the fourteen songs on “Mayhem,” giving netizens a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming album.
