Southern Hospitality fans have had questions about Maddi Reese and Joe Bradley’s Las Vegas wedding ever since the trailer for Season Three dropped. Folks were curious about the legality of the event, though Joe confirmed that it was only a ceremony.
So while the event was just for fun, Joe did express his wish to get married to the DJ legally the next time around. However, with Maddi’s career taking off, the Southern Hospitality star has other priorities.
Maddi Reese wants her “family there” if she marries in the future
The recent episode of Southern Hospitality had the cast supporting Maddi for a major gig in Las Vegas. At the end of the trip, Joe surprised his costars by taking them all to a wedding chapel.
A confused Maddi had “no idea what was going on” at first. But ultimately, was “down” to get married by Elvis in Sin City after Joe sold the idea to her as for “funsies.”
The reality TV star recalled the moment during a recent interview with Decider. Maddi said she was “shocked” that Joe came up with such an idea.
“I feel like as a group we just wanted to do something fun. And I mean, I feel like something reckless and impulsive is fun,” she shared.
Despite refraining from a serious legal decision this time around, Maddi admitted that her mother expects impulsivity from her.
The Republic VIP manager said her mother “wouldn’t be surprised at all” if she did make it legal with Joe on a whim. According to dialogue from the recent episode, Joe is ready to put a ring on it and “lock” Maddi in. But his DJ girlfriend has different feelings on the matter.
“I definitely want that one day, [to] have, like, a huge party where all my family and my friends and everyone can come and celebrate,” Maddi shared. “I’m just really busy right now. I just ended a whole DJ tour. I want all that stuff one day, but it’s just not my priority right now. Like where or what that would look like. But I definitely want my family there.”
