Ariana Madix is ready for her closeup on ABC’s Will Trent
According to Us Weekly, Ariana breaks the fourth wall and plays herself on the popular police procedural. The February 25 episode synopsis teases Will (Ramón Rodríguez) teaming up with Marion (Gina Rodriguez) to investigate a child trafficking case. Meanwhile, Jake McLaughlin’s character Ormewood “assists Ariana Madix with personal security, until a seemingly routine intervention escalates into violence.”
Not only is she playing herself, but Ariana gets to show off her Dancing with the Stars moves. In the episode, the Vanderpump Rules alum shares a dance with Atlanta Police Detective Ormewood.
Will Trent follows a special agent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) who grew up in foster care. The coping skills he learned in childhood assist him in solving cases. Based on Karin Slaughter’s book, Will Trent has the highest clearance rate in the GBI. He also has dyslexia and the cutest little dog on TV, Betty the Chihuahua.

Will Trent is just one of the opportunities Ariana has explored following her split with Tom. She’s accepted invitations to prestigious events, television commercials and a starring role on Broadway in the musical Chicago that set attendance records. She even took on hosting duties on her favorite show, Love Island USA, and appeared in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Additionally, the Ariana finished third on DWTS, released a cocktail book, and opened a sandwich shop with VPR bestie Katie Maloney. She was also crowned Us Weekly’s inaugural Reality Star of the Year for 2023.
In October 2024, the Pump Rules alum made the Will Trent announcement on her Instagram. “I’m so excited See you soon,” she wrote. In a follow-up post, she added, “I am so thrilled and can’t wait to work with everyone.”
Just remember, Ariana. The most important person on that set is Betty. It’s all about Betty. I’m obsessed.
