Grab some sunscreen and your finest resort wear — it’s time to check into Bravo’s Love Hotel! A teaser for the first-of-its-kind Real Housewives dating show just dropped, and we’re already obsessed. We got a glimpse at the show’s leading ladies: Shannon Beador, Luann de Lesseps, Ashley Darby, and Gizelle Bryant. They’re single, ready to mingle, and we have a really strong feeling that this is going to be appointment television.
The Housewives have checked into the Love Hotel
We first learned about Love Hotel last year. Bravo announced they had shipped four single Housewives over to the Grand Velas Boutique Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico. A group of eligible bachelors were there waiting for them, hoping to win over the hearts of the Housewives, with Joel Kim Booster serving as the host.
This is what Housewives fans have been begging for, but after filming wrapped, things got messy when Joel went on Instagram and dragged Shannon. In a series of now-deleted posts, he called the Real Housewives of Orange County star a “pathetic drunk.” According to Joel, she treated people like they were “subhuman.”
The whole thing was a stunning display of unprofessionalism, but he eventually apologized. Still, it’s going to be impossible to watch this show without imagining Shannon terrorizing the hotel staff behind the scenes.
Other than the Shannon of it all, Bravo has kept a lot of details about Love Hotel under wraps. We don’t know what any of these men are going to look like, but Luann previously teased that they were “heavily vetted” and “good-looking.” She also revealed that three of the four ladies found a match, so it’s time to start placing bets on who went home empty-handed.
Bravo’s Love Hotel is coming soon to Bravo, but no premiere date has been announced.
