The latest episode of Married of Medicine was like a Battle of the Exes, and it all went down on a sandbar outside of Key West, Florida. In one corner, you had Phaedra Parks and her new companion, Cheick Kone. In the other corner, there was Apollo Nida and his new wife, Sherien Almufti. At least three of those people had no business being there.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited Apollo on the trip in hopes that he and Phaedra could serve as an example for Quad Webb and her ex-husband. Instead, Apollo and Cheick argued over Phaedra. It turns out that they’re friends, and Apollo didn’t know the two were dating. Messy, right?
With that in mind, a producer asked Phaedra if she regretted inviting Cheick on the couples’ trip. In typical Phaedra fashion, she couldn’t give a straight answer.
Another non-answer from Phaedra Parks on Married to Medicine

Throughout Season 11 of Married to Medicine, Phaedra has been criticized for not opening up to the group. The last time they were in Florida, Toya Bush-Harris tried to pry some information out of her, but Phaedra quickly shut it down. On this trip, Phaedra had no choice but to get her hands dirty, thanks to Cheick’s unexpected connections to Apollo and Sherein.
In Episode 11, a producer asked Phaedra if inviting Cheick on the trip was a good idea. That’s a valid question because this was a lot of drama for a dude she “just met” at a speed-dating event. However, Phaedra didn’t have anything to say.
“I’m not gonna answer that,” she quickly told the producer.
With that in mind, you can’t help but question Phaedra’s intentions of bringing Cheick on the trip. Was it because she actually wanted his company, or was it because she knew Apollo was coming, and she wanted to stick it to him?
Either way, we’re not expecting any clarification from Phaedra any time soon. In the preview for Episode 12, you can see her and Cheick boarding a private plane back to Atlanta. They’re running away from the trip, and she also skipped the Season 11 reunion. We’ll probably never hear another peep from her about this.
Married to Medicine airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
