Welcome to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 12 recap. Last time, Sutton and her mother, Reba, were able to reach a better place in their relationship. Meanwhile, Erika and Boz urged Dorit to consider filing for divorce from PK Kemsley. Now here’s what happened in RHOBH Season 14, Episode 12, “Land of the Free, Home of the Shade.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 12?
Sutton, Garcelle, and Kyle were preparing to leave Augusta, Georgia. However, first Kyle and Garcelle confessed to eavesdropping the night before on Sutton and Reba’s conversation. Unfortunately for them, Reba entered the room and heard their confession.
“I will be sad that some of you are gone,” Reba stated when Garcelle asked if she would miss them. Someone else is reluctant to go home, too. Kyle will walk into an empty house, and she is lonely.
Sutton put her arm around her mother and told her that she loved her. “Well, I love you too, Sutton,” Reba replied. “I am overjoyed, overwhelmed, and feel completely loved,” Sutton said in her confessional. I will miss Reba and her spicy comments.
Dorit’s party has one reluctant guest on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Before Dorit’s big BBQ, Erika FaceTimed with Kyle. She expressed her hope that Kyle would spend some quality time with Boz. However, Kyle knows that Boz called her “cold.”
When Sutton arrived, no one was at the door, and she was shocked. No one was welcoming guests at the door? How terribly awkward! So, Sutton took a seat and waited.
Finally, Kyle arrived and noticed a group of family and wedding photos right in front of the door. “Oh, there’s a shrine to PK,” Kyle noted in her confessional. “Seems a little strange.”
After 39 minutes of Sutton’s life ticked by, Dorit graced her guests with her presence. However, when Kyle mentioned the photos, Sutton sat back down since she still hadn’t spoken with Dorit. And she was starting to simmer.
Later on, when Garcelle asked Sutton what she was drinking, she said that she was drinking a watermelon cooler. When the actress stated that it contained alcohol, Sutton acknowledged that it had some. Of course, Dorit brought up the fact that Garcelle asked Sutton what she was drinking, and if there was alcohol in it. Here we go again!
“Oh, Dorit, shut up,” Sutton said. “You’re such a b*tch.” As you may recall, Dorit previously spread rumors about Sutton’s alcohol intake. “And now she is just being a b*tch to be a b*tch,” Sutton said in her confessional.
Surprisingly, Dorit didn’t fly off the handle. She asked Sutton not to call her “a b*tch” in her home. After pointing out that bringing up the drinking wasn’t nice, Sutton stood up to leave. “I just said don’t call me a b*tch in my home, for f*ck’s sake!” Dorit exclaimed.
Both Kyle and Garcelle went after Sutton, which made Dorit furious. Both ladies knew that Sutton came to the party even though she wasn’t in the best place with Dorit. While Garcelle tried to explain that it was just “a bad joke,” Sutton insisted that Dorit wasn’t joking.
Sutton doesn’t feel welcome in Dorit’s house
Eventually, Boz arrived, and Kyle went to look for Dorit to resolve this issue. Kyle didn’t forget that Sutton gave her no grace for storming out of Boz’s spa day. When Kyle told Dorit that Sutton wouldn’t stay without some added encouragement, Dorit wasn’t interested.
Of course, Dorit was spicy because Sutton was playing the victim over “a joke.” Also, Kyle previously called out Sutton’s drinking. (Roll the footage!) So, Dorit wondered if there was a reason that the joke triggered Sutton. In the end, Sutton just wanted to leave.
Meanwhile, Boz was curious. “Do we need to go over there? I feel like I don’t want to be left out,” Boz said to Dorit. When Boz hit the foyer, she asked if everyone could just come into the house. Sutton replied, “I’m not comfortable here.” Boz responded, “To congregate here, at the front. Like, Dorit is hosting a party.” Then Garcelle called out Boz for “being Dorit’s spokesperson.”
Boz stated, “It looks rude. Alright, I mean, y’all want to coddle her? Coddle her,” Boz added. Then the newbie sounded off in her confessional. “I’m pissed that these ladies don’t have any couth to at least get up and come into the party and behave like civilized people,” she said. Boz, did you watch RHOBH before you joined?
However, in her confessional, Kyle had a different point of view. “She just comes in and automatically defends Dorit without knowing anything,” Kyle said. “You don’t get to scold us.” And, finally, Sutton had enough and left.
Is Kyle icy on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
Then Boz met up with Erika and Dorit outside and shared how she made a dig about how the ladies “coddle” Sutton. Dorit bemoaned the lack of “empathy” and “kindness.” She added, “Don’t be a vile human. Don’t be a douche.” Oof.
Eventually, Kyle and Garcelle sat down with the rest of the ladies. Garcelle defended Sutton, stating that Dorit started the problem by bringing up Sutton and alcohol. “Okay, Garcelle. Whose been Sutton’s spokesperson since she got here a few years ago?” Erika said in her confessional. She added that no one should be alarmed by Dorit and Boz’s newfound friendship.
So, Garcelle brought up that Boz said that Kyle “hasn’t been welcoming.” However, Kyle felt like they did connect. For instance, Kyle went to visit Boz after her surgery. “I was really surprised to hear that and it hurt my feelings,” she told Boz.
Boz tried to explain that she hadn’t had “deep” discussions with Kyle, which made her feel like Kyle was “distant.” For Boz, Kyle gives zero vibes. In Kyle’s eyes, Boz became friends with Dorit first, and her loyalty is to Dorit only.
Unfortunately for Kyle, she mentioned Boz suggesting that Kyle block PK on her phone while the group was at dinner. After Kyle told the ladies that she had been sharing a lot about her life, Dorit begged to differ. Poor Erika is getting tired of her squabbling friends.
Then Kyle called out how Dorit was a little too close to Boz. “She could literally say anything and you’re like so all over her ass. It’s actually gross now. Stop,” Kyle told Dorit. Yikes!
After a moment of bickering, Dorit asked if they started over fresh at Garcelle’s house. Kyle explained that she wanted to start from scratch, but they both had to earn the trust back. Easier said than done.
Kyle and Dorit bond over their separations on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Dorit wanted peace, so they hugged it out. Kyle and Dorit went into the house, and the upstairs was filled with boxes and racks of clothing. Kyle was shocked because Dorit was very neat. For the first time, Kyle understood exactly what Dorit was feeling.
Kyle and her husband Mauricio Umansky were going to reevaluate their relationship in six months, but instead, he purchased furniture for his bachelor pad. When Dorit asked Kyle how she felt, Kyle replied, “It feels like we’re family.”
When asked if she wanted to be back together, Kyle responded, “Right now, I just want to take this time too, you know? But I’m not doing anything with the time.”
After Dorit asked Kyle if she wanted a divorce, Kyle had a surprising response. “I’m not going to stay like this,” she said. “So, if we’re not going to get back together, then I’m going to get a divorce. Yes.”
Then Dorit asked if there was any chance of a reconciliation between Kyle and Mauricio. “Right now, that’s not going to happen,” Kyle explained. She said in her confessional, “Mau and I, we have both been in denial about the situation we’re in. So, I definitely feel like I’m in limbo.”
Sadly, Dorit shared that she suspected that PK had been thinking about separating, and he was ready. She was not prepared. Both ladies realized that they were stuck, while PK and Mauricio were living their lives. While Dorit wondered if PK was dating, Kyle said that they would have heard rumors if PK and Mau were dating.
The phrase “One week later,” appeared on the screen, along with headlines about Mauricio kissing a woman in Greece. When Erika FaceTimed Kyle, she was stunned. “I don’t really know how I am,” Kyle stated.
