After a decade on Married to Medicine, Dr. Jackie Walters has endured some wild reunion moments. Marriages have been saved, countless tears have been shed, and for Season 11’s sitdown, it sounds like things were just as action-packed.
The cast filmed the reunion last week, and Dr. Jackie was right in the middle of the action. Apparently, she went into it with high hopes, but we’re not sure if she left that way. The M2M OG recently sat down with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, and she said that she needed fans to pray for her.
Dr. Jackie Walters was hoping for peace ahead of the Season 11 M2M reunion
Dr. Jackie is a reality TV veteran, but she said that reunions are always unknown territory. Everyone is reliving the season’s drama, and that makes for a lot of volatile emotions.
“The reunion is always filled with the unknown. It gets a little demonic sometimes,” Jackie explained.
For the most part, Dr. Jackie is cool with everyone in the group. However, she said her biggest concern about the reunion was having to own up to things she said in the confessional chair. It’s much easier to run your mouth in front of a green screen than it is on a reunion couch next to Andy Cohen.
“Pray for me. That’s all I can say because if you piss off the wrong ones, they’re coming back for it. We might bring props, you might bring old girlfriends back. You just never know,” Jackie teased.
During the interview, she tried to stay tightlipped about the details of the reunion. However, Bravo already revealed that Phaedra Parks was a no-show. Lateasha Lunceford also considered skipping the reunion, but she did show up after all. It sounds like she might have had Jackie in her corner.
“I would love to see Sweet Tea, in some way, reconnect to the group,” Jackie explained. “I feel like I need to reach out and auntie her.”
Dr. Jackie also teased that there could be a light at the end of the tunnel for Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe. They started off the season ready to “square up” with each other, but Jackie said she was rooting for them to find peace at the reunion.
“I would love, love, love to see Heavenly and Contessa reconnect. I would just love that because they were great friends, they traveled together, their kids would go out,” Jackie explained.
According to Dr. Jackie, she kept reminding Heavenly to “think back and forgive.” Did she listen? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
