Thanks to the success of the Real Housewives franchise in the United States, it seemed only fitting that other countries like Australia would jump on the bandwagon. Australia actually has two franchises. And while the Real Housewives of Melbourne has been shelved, the Real Housewives of Sydney is currently thriving. With a new season fast approaching, it’s time to take a look at the women’s infamous taglines.
The women on the Real Housewives of Sydney don’t play around
I expected nothing less from the women of New South Wales. Much like their fashion, their humor is cheeky and sharp-witted. The glitz and glamour are on point as the women try their best to be the best housewives … or not, depending on who you ask. OG Krissy Marsh, one of the biggest pot stirrers of the franchise, leads the pack. She states, “Friends are like diamonds; just watch out for the fakes.” Best friend Nicole O’Neil adds, “When you are a classic like me, you don’t need a comeback.” And good as gold, Terry Biviano warns, “Sydney may be full of icons, but I’m still the main attraction.”
The newbie of the group, Martine Chippendale, is playing on the damsel in distress. She tells fans, “My life is a fairytale, but this princess does not need saving.” Victoria Montano, who found herself involved in fur-gate last season, notes, “My skirts may be short, but I’m not short of an opinion.” Dr. Nicole Adams, Vicki’s frenemy, shares, “Create your own success, and you answer to no one.” Caroline Gaultier thinks, “Life is my runway, and I never miss a step.” While the calmest of the bunch, Sally Obermeder reminds her costars, “Kindness should never be mistaken for weakness.”
The new season of the Real Housewives of Sydney airs on February 25th.
