Lindsay Hubbard is one of the last OGs standing on Summer House. The Bravo star celebrated her eighth year on the network this year and she has no plans to leave the spotlight anytime soon. But she isn’t against making a career change. During a January 2025 appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Lindsay expressed interest in joining the cast of Real Housewives of New York.
“I would love to, like, sit down at a conference table with the executives of Summer House and Bravo and Andy and just be like, ‘Okay guys, what are we doing with me?’” she said.
I think Lindsay would be a great addition to the RHONY family. In fact, I think she should kiss Summer House goodbye and become full-fledged Housewife.

Lindsay Hubbard needs space from her ex
Lindsay agreed to film Season 9 of Summer House alongside the man who broke up with her months before their wedding. She opened up about the experience in an August 2024 interview with Us Weekly, telling the outlet there was some “awkwardness” on set.
“There’s a little drama because you don’t just act like everything is fine and nothing happened,” she shared. “There are past and residual feelings that come up that you need to address … but for the most part, I think it’s been OK.”
It appears Lindsay and Carl Radke have found a way to cohabitate in the short term, but the situation is not sustainable. She cannot spend every summer with her ex-fiance for the foreseeable future. There is no way that’s healthy. If she made the jump to RHONY, she can finally create distance from the relationship while still maintaining her reality TV career.
Some fans feel Lindsay is made for TV
Love her or hate her, there is no denying Lindsay is a fantastic reality star. In fact, most of the entertainment on Summer House stems from her losing her cool, from yelling at her boyfriend to make her more sandwiches to comparing Carl to a terrorist and Tom Sandoval during one of their many Season 8 fights.
RHONY is in hot water with fans after Season 15 fell flat with viewers. Fans criticized the women for acting like producers and not sharing their authentic lives on screen. Seriously, what was with all those pranks? Lindsay would breathe new life into the series. She doesn’t need to stage pranks or craft fake storylines because wherever she goes, chaos follows.
Lindsay is older than the women on Summer House
Lindsay was surrounded by her peers when she first signed on to Summer House. Everyone was about the same age, excluding Amanda Batula who was a bit younger. But as the years went on, the cast got younger and younger. When Paige DeSorbo, Hannah Berner, and Ciara Miller joined the cast, Lindsay was vocal about feeling as though there was a generation gap between her and the rest of the girls.
There does seem to be a divide, especially after Danielle Olivera’s exit. The new cast of RHONY is younger than it used to be. The current group includes multiple women in their 30s. Erin Lichy is actually one year younger than the Summer House star. I think Lindsay may feel more kinship with the RHONY women than her current cast. Summer House is, at its core, a show about young people partying in the Hamptons. The group has gotten older but the party lifestyle is still an essential part of the show. Lindsay is entering a new phase of life after the birth of her first child and Summer House may no longer be the right fit. Real Housewives is a blend of work and play. Sure, they get lit at times, but the show also focuses on their families and business endeavors.
If I were Lindsay, I would start pitching myself as Rebecca Minkoff’s replacement. Someone give this woman an apple.
