Season 3 of The Traitors started with a record four Traitors. Host Alan Cumming selected Bob the Drag Queen, and Survivor vets Boston Rob Mariano and Carolyn Wiger. Plus, Big Brother legend Danielle Reyes also donned the Traitor’s cloak. At the end of Episode 9, Danielle was the only Traitor left.
Bob the Drag Queen says that Danielle Reyes “changed the game of reality TV”
Of course, Boston Rob went after Bob the Drag Queen in one of the most fiery Round Tables this season. When the RuPaul’s Drag Race star was told that Boston Rob sent him home “out of huge respect,” he had the perfect response. “To be fair, I gave him no choice but to respect me,” Bob the Drag Queen told PEOPLE. “I think there was a big dog eat big dog-type of vibe going on in there, and there could only be one king of the castle,” Bob said of his relationship with Boston Rob. Bob added, “And I think it gags him to see this queen ended up being the king. He was like, ‘This bitch is really running things!'”
And Bob the Drag Queen had nothing but praise for Danielle after her masterful take-down of Carolyn. “Danielle is an absolute icon in the world of reality TV. I don’t think y’all reading at home know how much Danielle Reyes has changed the game of reality TV,” Bob explained. “You literally don’t know. They do reality differently because of her impact.”
In fact, Danielle competed on Big Brother three times and is considered to be the best player to never win. However, Danielle’s gameplay on The Traitors was a bit scattered early in the game. Her breakfast room tears, shed upon learning the murder victim’s identity, were considered odd by her fellow players. So, while some players still feel like Danielle is sus, she was able to beat Carolyn to the punch and eliminate her.
