Could the third time be the charm in Kroy Biermann’s quest to disentangle himself from Kim Zolciak?
This is just the latest chapter in The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy alums’ seemingly never-ending divorce. Kroy recently filed for divorce for the third time after Kim moved to a new county in Georgia. Because of the move, he had to submit new paperwork to keep things moving.
Kroy’s desire to rid himself of Kim seems to transcend distance
According to TMZ, Kroy’s latest filing – submitted yesterday afternoon – revealed that Kim moved to a new county in Georgia, forcing him to submit fresh paperwork to keep the case active. This marks his third attempt to end their marriage.
Kim and Kroy initially ran to the courthouse to file against each other in May 2023. Then, the couple tried to patch things up that summer. By August, Kroy had had enough and filed for a second time. But in October 2023, Kroy buddied Kim to the surgeon’s office for a vaginal rejuvenation. To say things have been tumultuous between them since would be an utter understatement.
Their 2024 was marked by debt collection and several visits from the police for fights over everything from closet space to parking issues. And, these two have already had an eventful 2025. They finally sold their Georgia home and moved away from each other to avoid foreclosure, mounting debts, and (probably) more police body cam footage.
Earlier this month, Kim requested a psychological evaluation for Kroy, citing concerns about possible CTE from his NFL career. Previously, Kroy sought the same from Kim, claiming her alleged gambling issues were the root cause of their financial ruin.
Whether Kroy’s most recent divorce filing is the one that ends this whole ordeal for good remains to be seen. If the last two years are any indication, it isn’t looking promising.
