It’s wild to watch the breakdown of Shep Rose’s fairytale romance with Sienna Evans on the current season of Southern Charm. Shep was talking like Sienna was “the one” and he was ready to move to the Bahamas with the help of Craig Conover’s legal services. Now we know that didn’t play out, but watching the demise is truly a sight to behold.
The cast trip to the Bahamas seemed to be the nail in the coffin for Sienna and Shep’s relationship. She barely seemed to want to spend time with him on vacation, let alone show any excitement about the visit. After a series of awkward scenes, Shep is clearing up some truths about their relationship that the cameras didn’t catch.
Shep Rose had high hopes
During the latest Southern Charm After Show, Shep spoke about his dynamics with Sienna just weeks before his trip. Apparently, she wasn’t always distant and short with him. “You know what’s crazy?” Shep said “Two weeks earlier, she was like ‘I can’t wait for you to come down!’ I was like ‘Yeah, me too.'”
Then, Shep claimed that Sienna had even planned on bunking with the crew. “I asked, ‘Are you staying with me?’ and she said, ‘Of course I’m staying with you! Where else would I stay?’ What a difference two weeks makes,” he explained. Maybe she pulled a Craig and wasn’t happy with the room situation. More likely, she knew this relationship was over before Shep did.
Finally, Shep revealed that he tried to “smooch” Sienna before she left the dinner after their first night, but she denied him. “It was confusing,” Shep recalled, “But it was so clear at the same time.” Hindsight really is 20/20.
